Following on from my workshop announcement video here’s the info from Green and Grounded regarding their Christmas wreath workshops 🖤

It is certainly too early for Mariah screaming, yet it is not too early to secure your spot for this year’s Christmas Wreath Workshop.

As you may be aware, we enjoy changing venues and collaborating with our industry pals, and this year is no different. We are excited to partner with Manchester’s finest brunch and bistro, .co, and will be hosting events in both Altrincham and Sale.

Join us for an enjoyable evening where you will create a luxurious, handmade door wreath. Throughout the session, you will craft a stunning, aromatic door wreath and acquire the skills necessary to replicate your creation repeatedly.

Employing sustainable techniques with a reusable base, along with exquisite festive foliage, berries, seed heads, and ribbon embellishments, we will guide you through a step-by-step masterclass to design an impactful, wild, and Green and Grounded signature-style Christmas wreath for your front door.

This event is ideal for anyone, whether you are attending alone, as a couple, or as part of a larger group. There is no need to bring anything, as all materials and instruction will be provided. Additionally, you will receive a complimentary festive drink or glass of sparkling wine upon arrival.

What a fantastic day today was well done to Sarah & Mike for another successful event, you smashed it. I have loved every minute! Thanks to everyone who came along and supported all our small businesses and the event. We all really do appreciate it and thank you for giving homes to lots of Black Raven pieces.

So many fabulous traders to mention (i will do a separate post on this) but you are all awesome 🖤 and a special thanks to Emma & Rich .shortland who always makes me laugh (i loved the effort you went to with the tails, highlight of my day!)

I have just finished a crazy week after getting back from Whitby Goth Weekend, back to my other job, catching up with admin and making gorgeous new things for tomorrow’s as well as planning my new studio (more exciting info coming soon!)

I can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow, it’s a great market and Sarah works so hard to make it such an inclusive, enjoyable, friendly event for everyone. You really must come down (free parking on site and great transport links) my pals .shortland and loads of other awesome traders will be filling the rooms to the brim with awesomeness🖤

What can I say other than Wow..what a weekend For the Spring Whitby Goth weekend! Raychel did an amazing job making the market and events run like clockwork. The whole weekwnd was a real success 🖤

Thank you to my gorgeous Trader family which grows at every event, without the support of each and everyone of you it just wouldn’t be the same…you all know who you are 🖤

I also wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you..from our loyal return customers to all you new customers..without you my Black Raven journey would not be possible. I’m eternally grateful 🖤

This beautiful Magpie wreath collaboration with the amazing Sarah flew off to it’s forever home..we can’t wait to see how it looks in the beautiful old cottage it now resides in!

Inspired by awesome new release this beautifully chilling spine piece was created for my new collection which was showcased at the epic last Saturday. It received an abundance of compliments and many of you wanting to take it home but one lucky customer snapped it up.

With Mother’s Day fast approaching I have stocked my shop up with a selection of Dried & Preserved floral bouquets that are ready for that special person who you think deserves an unusual flowery treat! My shop is also packed with my Floral art, entomology, curiosities and taxidermy 🖤

Mother’s day isn’t just about celebrating the person that brought you into the world it’s about celebrating the important people around you who have had a positive influence on your life. Appreciating the kindness and love you have been shown in those important relationships and sharing special moments with those people. Wether it’s breakfast in bed, their favourite biscuits with a brew or a gift make sure to tell them they are AWESOME!

Well here I am..back to posting on socials. I needed to take a break after the most hectic end to 2023! Thank you for all your support over what was my best Black Raven year yet, it truly does mean the world.

I mat not have been posting but i have definitely been planning. This year is all about embracing what I love about the business and evolving, there may be a few changes to how I do things but I really do believe that 2024 is going to be wild here at Black Raven and i’m excited about the ride.

This season of the Witch has been a mega busy one so far with tonnes of beautiful weddings (can’t wait to show you all!) and a fantastic day on Saturday at my favourite event 🖤 thank you to everyone that came to see me and to all my new followers! It really was an epic day seeing all my favourite trader pals and meeting so many wonderful customers 🖤

Many of you have already enquired about my Christmas workshops already and are chomping at the bit to book so I will opening up bookings a bit earlier than usual this year.

What can I say about these two , from the moment I met them I knew we’d have a blast and that they were totally awesome. From designing to creating they put their complete trust in me and it was such an ace experience. Both Sophie & Darren have a creative flair (which i’ve seen in my wreath workshops and in their beautiful home) and they thought about every detail for their big day. Using an autumnal pallet with a pop of light the florals captured their elegant, gothic side with a sprinkle of halloween fun. Sophies bouquet included my home grown dried astilbe, tonnes of foliages, amaranthus, dried burnt orange roses, hydrangea, bunny tails, pampas, scabious seed heads and leaves…lots of leaves. Finished with trailing ribbons and the most beautiful memento tied to the handle to remember a special loved one.

Darrens shotgun case buttonhole was presented to him in a Black Raven velvet lined coffin box with my Raven and Skull wax seal.

A beautiful dried foliage door wreath with matching trailing ribbons and floral statement arrangement was used to adorn their beautiful wedding reception..their awesome home.. party central.

The cherry on the top was the surprise gift Sophie commissioned for her hubby to be..I absolutely loved making them their very own custom ghost parlour dome..the perfect spooky addition to their beautiful day.
