Whether you are a casual WWE fan, an old World of Sport fan, a hardcore pro wrestling fan, or a family looking for an evening of family friendly fun, we have something for everyone. The opening match of Coronation saw "The Zubaweight" Jack Baron take on "The Undeniable One" Jenson Vesper. Jack Baron quickly became a fan favourite and got the better of poor Jenson, who was expecting the red carpet rolled out for him.

Our Main Event for Long Live The King will be Aiton Steen vs Jack Johnson in a Salford Street Fight. Aiton has repeatedly cost Jack the chance to become "The King of Salford" and challenged him to a match in his own backyard out of arrogance. Jack gladly accepted.

Anything could happen in this match with no rules.

For those who couldn't get tickets for Coronation, here is a quick recap of what went down:

🔴Jack Baron defeated Jenson Vesper

🔴 The Banter Bus defeated The Bigger Picture

🔴 Lily Winter inserted herself into the match between Natalie Sykes and Alfiee, turning it into a Triple Threat. It was revealed that Lily and Natalie were working together, and Lily pinned Alfiee to win the match.

🔴 Dave Birch defeated Andre Dekker who had a strong showing

🔴 Bentley defeated Philip Michael and Aiton Steen with Philip taking the pin

🔴 The main event was full of drama. Jack Johnson confronted the "King of Salford" Troy Ryan, asking if he would defend his crown. Troy didn’t take kindly to this question, turning on both Jack and the fans. In a hard-fought battle, Jack nearly dethroned Troy, but Aiton Steen interfered, hitting Jack with a chair while the referee was down. Troy showed his true colors, continuing to attack Jack and ultimately securing the win to remain "King of Salford."

After the match, Aiton challenged Jack to a Salford Street Fight at our next show on Friday, April 25th. Jack accepted and we have our main event for Long Live The King.

Quick statement

We are aware of a particular fan who caused some other fans, wrestlers and others to feel uncomfortable last night. We have had many people reach out to us and we thank everyone for letting us know more specifics.

Rest assured, behaviour like this will not be tolerated at Salford City Wrestling. If anything like this happens at future shows, please report this to a member of staff and it will be dealt with straight away.

We want people to have a good time but it must not be at the expense of others. We are a family friendly environment and everyone should feel safe and welcome.

We would like to thank Jack Johnson for dealing with it extremely well at the end of the show and the entire crowd was on his side.

We are actively investigating the issue and will be looking to talk to the individual
