Last week announced their 2025 bouquet predictions and here's our take...
1) Pop of Red: Adele loves bold clashing pinks & reds, whereas Gemma is more drawn towards softer warm burgundy tones. However we think this trend prediction is a great reminder to have whatever colour you love regardless of 'traditions' (see yesterday's post!) โค๏ธ
2) Long Stems: we actually find most brides ask to avoid this, which makes a lot of sense as the bouquet can be easier to hold with shorter stems. However, long stems add to the chic modern feel of monobloom bouquets which are only becoming more and more popular ๐น
3) Oversized Bouquets: a fabulous way of making a statement or creating a key feature if you're pairing back on other floral elements. The bridal bouquet is arguably the most important flowers you'll ever receive so why go all out!!โจ
4) Cascading shapes: previously this style has been seen as formal and rigid. But by keeping the overall look loose and following the natural flow of individual stems, cascading bouquets are back creating an added touch of elegance in a more relaxed way ๐ฟ
5) Metallic details: we tend to prefer a natural, seasonal look and therefore limit our use of dyed flowers. If you're looking for a bit of glamour, using ribbon or a sentimental charm is a great alternative. Our only exception is at Christmas where you can't beat a touch of sparkle ๐
What do you think? Would you be interested in embracing any of these trends for your 2025 wedding?
