Saying good bye to the dahlias this week with frosts expected every night. They had a late start with the dreadful summer of rain, but have made up with the late frosts.
This weekend's wedding will be my last with the dahlias and I'm going all out autumn colours. Will post pics

It's October and the perfect month to sow sweet peas for next Spring. They are so incredibly Hardy and put down strong roots for planting out Feb/March.
I've sown my own collected seed from this year's best plants and 2 new varieties from the brilliant Eagle Nursery, well worth seeking them out.

Pave or not to Pavé, now that's a question
Love my world of wedding flowers, but knowing your limitations is key to a happy life. X
Being a wedding florist makes me so happy, but recently entering the world of formal floral arrangingvand it brings new meaning to stressful. so hard! Wishing I could be better.
My attempt at Pavé, whilst I love it and reckon mine would love ace as a table centre piece with a few candles and bud vases around, didn't do well with judges. Better luck next time xx
