Mr Ben’s events are very proud to announce that we have so far raised £870 to donate to Nove Onlus who are doing an amazing job of helping those in need In Afghanistan during this horrendous time.

We would like to send a very special thanks to Barry’s Field sports ground in Winterslow for allowing us to set up our food van last weekend.
A huge thanks to Alice Tier and Jane Tier for coming along and selling there delicious cakes.
To Fiona Wakeford for donating some of her amazing brownies.
To Clarendon Juniors Fc for there support and to Salisbury city marauders American football club.
Huge respect to Michelle Scarrett who has collected a massive amount of donated items to help those in need.
And a huge thank you to all of you lovely kind people of Winterslow and beyond for coming up and supporting us by buying our food without you guys it wouldn’t have been possible.

Traditional marquee and dry hire equipment for events and special occasions in and around Salisbury

Hello folks, I hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday weekend.
As you may of seen on my previous post MrBensEvents are opening our food van next weekend at Barry’s field sports ground, Weston lane, Winterslow to raise money and awareness for the people of Afghanistan during this awful time.
We will be open to the public on Saturday from 12.30 until 9pm and on Sunday from 10am until 7pm.
As well as the food van selling hot food we have already had some kind offers of donations of delicious home baked goods from Jane Tier and Fiona Wakeford.
If anyone else would like to come along on Sunday we are hoping to arrange a small market/ carboot so please get in touch if you would like to have a stall, we will just ask for a small donation to our chosen charity.
Also Michelle Scarrett is kindly organising a collection of items to pass on to charities and we will have a collection point at our van and I will add a list of items that would be helpful in my comments below.
Will follow up with more details as it’s confirmed.

Hello folks 👋, just to let everyone know MrBensEvents are opening our food van up at Barry’s field next weekend , Saturday after 12.30 and Sunday (exact times and more details to follow very shortly).
We have decided that we really want to do something to support the people of Afghanistan during this horrendous time so we are donating the food and all the proceeds will be sent directly to an NGO working directly with the people most in need.
The NGO is called Nove Onlus we have chosen them because they have formed a group of other NGOS and will make sure the funds are used quickly a efficiently.
‘This small NGO (charity) has a local Afghan team of staff providing support to women and children in Kabul. The money raised will be used as soon as they receive it to provide basic food, shelter and supplies to hundreds of those most in need.’
I will be posting more details of this charity you can check them out and we / they would really appreciate your support.

Food for thought! We feed you and you feed them.

Unfortunately due to reasons out of our control we have made the difficult decision to postpone the event this Saturday at Barry’s field Winterslow.
We will be announcing a new date soon.

Hi folks, so as summer seems to have eventually arrived and restrictions are hopefully continuing to be lifted we are planning on starting to organise some events.

The first event we are planning is going to be at Barry’s field sports ground in Winterslow on Saturday the 10th of July, we are planning to hold a carbooot/farmers/ vintage market during the day with some acoustic music, bar tent, food stalls and some entertainment for the children.
We know it is fairly short notice but thought let’s get the ball rolling as I’m sure we all need a bit of fun after the last 15 Months! We love to hear your thoughts on this and we will be putting out more publicity in the next week.

If you would like to have a stall or fancy coming and playing some music please get in touch, we will be putting up some marquees so will have some undercover just in case.
