CHAIRMANS CALL 🔊

A message from the Chairman:

“As we head into 2025 we have four 1st XV home league matches left to play, two in January, and want to make those days successful events for the club and support our teams in numbers.

The 18th Jan game has been designated Chairman’s Day and will be a top of the table clash Vs Firwood Waterloo. You should also be able to try out the newly surfaced car park 🫡

I’m hoping we can fill some hospitality tables for what should be a great afternoon. Our boys were disappointed to lose a close fought game away to Firwood Waterloo and I’m sure will feel they have an opportunity to turn the tables with home advantage and strong support.

I’m asking former club Chairs and all other members and associate members to make a social event of the big game, bring some guests along and see if we can fill some tables. will be providing two courses from soup/main/dessert for £15 with a cheese course for an extra £2.50 if required. Mains can be pre-ordered as a roast, pie or pasty.

You can dust yourself off from the previous weeks trip to Douglas, if you made it, and watch the boys at home. If things go to plan we will have the new hospitality/function car park completed and ready to go as well !
