📣Important Announcement 📣
If you book a visit from us for your care home/business can you please make sure it is written in the diary.
Today I organised staff for the visit, organised childcare for my toddler, filled out the legal paperwork for our animals to travel, gathered the animals up and drove to our booking 30 mins away, to be greeted with " sorry we didn't know you were coming the lady who booked you doesn't work for us anymore". That was that, I had to leave.

This is not ok.

Not only did I lose a day's work myself, I am also out of pocket now for fuel and staff wages. I also could have used this day as a very rare day off with my son and taken him out for the day.

I have two stories so I have no idea who's telling the truth if it was in the diary or not, but if you do change your mind you only have to say, I can usually fill a space quite easily or I can have a lovely day off!

I don't ask for deposits from care homes because I found that the big companies just don't send them anyway so it wasn't working asking for deposits from these types of places, but maybe I need to be a bit firmer about these things in the future!

School and nursery bookings being taken for 2025 🐑
We have plenty of availability at the moment but as time goes on we will get booked up and like last year we had to say no to so many that we couldn't fit in... so plan ahead and get your dates booked in sooner rather than later 😊

It's time to book your January & February parties now 🥳

Activities at our farm parties can include:

🥰Animal cuddles
🫘Goat feeding
🚶‍♀️Goat walking
🐴Pony/unicorn grooming
📸Photos with the animals
👨‍🌾Learning about animals

We can visit your garden or you can hire a village hall, we do not require a lot of space.
Our animals are domesticated farm animals, extremely tame, safe and gentle around children.

We are fully insured, licenced with the council, and DBS checked.

A lovely school visit this morning 😊
60 Reception children, all behaved brilliantly with the animals.

To link in with their current topics we discussed:

*Taking care of animals 👨‍🌾
*What animals do for us 🥚🥛
*Sheep shearing and what we can use the wool for 🧣🧶

As well as using the opportunity to have lots of fluffy cuddles, first experiences, and over come fears 🥰

Shearing day ✂️
So the boys have had their last shear of the year! They were definitely ready for it.
Valais sheep are sheared twice a year as their fleece grows so thick.

So they won't be looking their cutest for the next few weeks until it starts to grow back but at least they will be comfortable 🙂

They have coats to wear now to keep them toasty 🥰

It's amazing how animal therapy can help some people, I don't always get time to update my page as much as I would like to but I need to share this story with you all.

A couple of weeks ago we visited a care home, at the end of the visit we took the goats in to see a lady who was unable to get out of bed. She sadly had suffered a stroke and the only word she can say now is 'No'.

Her face lit up as soon as she saw our goat Reggie, he let her stroke him and even lay next to her in bed. She was saying no repeatedly but with a huge smile on her face and we were assured that even though she is saying no she doesn't actually mean no it is just all she can say. Then, as if by magic the lady said Yes! This was the first time the carers had heard her say another word in a very long time.
Everyone was stunned and it was a very proud moment for us all in the room.

Some animals are put on this earth to help humans, and Reggie is one of them 🥰

I will try to find time to update my page more with special moments like these because they need to be shared, animals are angels 😇

Our first 4 day event 🎃👻
Our absolutely amazing animals coped brilliantly and did us so proud! Thousands of people they met over the four days, putting smiles on everyone's faces! Not one animal put a whisker out of place 🤩
