Self Love time of year!

You know we've been thinking, its ok to say no to the parties, to the Christmas outings and the festive cheer and give yourself a little time to reflect on the year and celebrate the little wins.

And so we have set up a celebrant network, meeting once a month to support them. 🌿✨ What a wonderful day foraging at Mill Farm! We had the pleasure of welcoming Steve and his team from @theforagingchef_ for an unforgettable culinary adventure in the glorious sunshine!🌞 Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing elderflower cocktail 🍹, setting the tone for a day filled with nature and flavour. As we strolled up the farm track and delved into the woods, we learned about the incredible plants (which we’d all probably describe as weeds) around us, enriching our minds and appetites into their many culinary and medicinal uses and flavours. The feast awaited us back at the farm, starting with a bourbon-style cocktail and a menu to marvel at, all cooked over an open fire. Here’s what we savoured: 🌱 **To Start:** Smoked hummus, lovage & hogweed seed focaccia 🔥 **The BBQ:** - Pulled venison haunch on flatbreads with agaricus kimchi sauce, green chilli & kelp relish, and wild garlic mayo. - Coal baked roots with ground elder pesto, curds, and trooping funnel ketchup. - Salmon seared on birchwood with blackberry sour cream, fermented lemon & wild fennel couscous. - BBQ lettuce salad with aged damson vinaigrette, walnut ketchup, and sea vegetable chimichurri 🍎 **Pudding:** Apple over fire, hen of the woods caramel, wild seed parkin, smoked hung yoghurt, and apple marshmallow Each dish was a discovery of flavours and a testament to the beauty of wild and local produce (excluding the salmon). 🍴🌳 We can’t wait to share more of these experiences with you.
