Ahead of the forthcoming party season....
As we move into the festive season many DJs will be faced with people out on their works parties etc and will likely receive a lot of requests that they can't play as they may not have them or aren't suitable for the event / venue / vibe etc.
I've been on the receiving end of grief from many customers and even though I'd say I'm quite mentally head strong, it's still not a nice feeling when you're being told you're sh*t etc, and others may not be as strong.
My point is, with mental health a big talking point at the moment, if you're one of these people abusing the DJ because they won't play your request, spare a thought for how your actions may impact that person who is essentially at work earning a living.
Imagine you being sat at your desk and some pissed up person comes up to you telling you you're sh*t at your job.
Remember that the DJ is playing to the whole room, not just for you.
