Just like that we seem to be back round to Monday again.

This morning I completed two large wedding quotations which I have been working on for far too long, sometimes when we're hiring stock from other suppliers or buying new items in those quotes take me ao much longer to compile.
I also replied to a handful of email enquiries.

I notice there's still a few pending emails for me to respond to and some finalising appointments to get booked in.

We'll be starting the big workshop clean this week.

Packing Christmas away and pulling down the stockroom from upstairs.
We're putting together a catalogue of hireable items for this year. It's going to be a busy week!

Sunday brings a day of rest. I have had a lovely snoozey morning today.

Been sourcing some trees for a summer wedding this afternoon. Which is proving more challenging than I anticipated.
Sometimes botanical products aren't as easy to get hold of as one expects.

Hope you're keeping warm. I'm looking forward to a milder week next week.
I feel it is surely time for the spring bulbs to be making an appearance.

I'm having a few hours out this afternoon with my love, we've come to the cinema which we had planned pre Christmas and I've been spoilt to popcorn too. 🍿

We did it. We made it to Friday. One full working week of January completed. Hurrah!!

Wow. What a long week it has been.

The workload at our Workshop has eased back a little with just a few gift bouquets on order this week.
We still have plenty of beautiful fresh flowers in stock, if anyone needs any.

We've sent out lots of wedding quotations too. With a small handful still left to complete over the next couple of days, we're certainly heading in the right direction.

I've a few wedding appointments too this afternoon. How I do love to speak with new clients and booked couples about their wedding florals.
Hopefully inspiring them with floral ideas or suggesting seasonal beauties for their special day.

Welcome to a Thursday in January.

We are over hump day and rolling on towards the weekend.

I have to say I'm so glad this cold spell came after Christmas and not before.
I keep briefly popping into the workshop but my goodness it really is bitterly cold up there.

Our small heater is keeping the flowers at the precise temperature they need to be. But the main work space is super chilly.

I'm sat working through wedding quotations this morning. As I always do in January...

Do you know anyone who might fancy coming along to one of our wreath making sessions this weekend?

Saturday 14th December in the morning we have some spaces still available for our Christmas wreath making.
Sunday 15th December in the afternoon we're garland making.

It's such good fun. And what a sense of achievement. 🌲

Our sessions take around 2-3 hours. Morning session start at 10am and afternoon session at 2pm.

We will be making both of these items from scratch using a mixture of fresh winter foliages, natural botanical materials and maybe a few dried fruits and flowers if desired.

Super stylish and very long lasting. Bursting with a gorgeous designer look which will be the envy of the neighbourhood.

We charge £50 per person. Which includes all materials and tuition.
Tea, Coffee and of course festive sweet treats will be included.

Please ensure warm clothing is worn. It's certainly chilly up at our workshop.
