CROCHET WORKSHOPS At Staintondale Village Hall
For those interested in learning the basics of crocheting there will be a couple of informal sessions at Staintondale Village Hall on
Sunday 16th February 2pm till 3-30pm and Monday 17th February 4pm till 5-30pm.
These workshops are to learn the basics for those wanting to help make all the poppies we will need for the display at St John’s this year when we will be commemorating the 80yr anniversary of the end of WW2.
We also welcome those who can crochet and are willing to give one to one assistance with those wanting to learn. Everyone is welcome.
There will be a small charge of £3 per person towards village hall funds.

Everyone here at the hall would like to thank you for your continued support and wish you all a very Happy New Year.
For those planning their future events here are our dates for the COUNTRY CRAFTS AND PRODUCE FAYRES that we are holding during 2025. (see poster) Stalls are £15 for a 6' table and £8 for a 3' table. We currently have an offer where you can book all 4 dates in advance for a reduced price of £55 or £28. Receipt of your payment reserves a stall at all four Fayres for you. (Please note the cancellation time is two weeks prior to the date if you take this offer.) We provide the table to the size you reserve and a chair, our outside stalls are in a gazebo which we also provide. This offer has been proving very popular so please reserve your stall asap to avoid disappointment. Payment can be made via BACs please send us a message to get details. A follow up from the wreath making morning. We had a competition for the messiest table. It was decided each table made the same amount of mess. A LOT 😆 🤣 😂

A creative Christmas Wreath making event was held on Sunday morning at the village hall where beautiful wreaths were made and new friendships formed. The ladies, gent and children all went home with a fresh handmade wreath to adorn their home for the next few weeks. Thanks were expressed by all to Danielle who gave instruction on making a wreath from scratch and how to make bows and add adornments.
