It will soon be Christmas, if you come to Staintondale Village Hall on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 30th you'll be able to find some unique gifts at our next Country Crafts and Produce Fayre, there will be light lunches and a tombola too. Were looking forward to seeing you there.

It’s that time again….the Staintondale Counrty Crafts & Produce Fayre is this Saturday (21st Sept 10am-2pm). An ideal time to start your Christmas shopping for those bespoke hard to find gifts. There will be lots of stalls including Barry with his veg, plants & bulbs, Yvie & her embroidered cushions, Donella & her amazing hand crafted gifts, Sue & her brillaint decoupage gifts, Mike with his handmade bird boxes, Caron with her array of handmade items, Robin with his local honey and handmade candles, Judy with her handmade greetings cards, Patricia with her handcrafted fairy gardens, Brian the pickle & jam man as well as Ian with his fantstic turned wood gifts plus Olwyn with a large selection of her handmade gifts and theres lots more to browse and purchase from. Come and enjoy Brunch or Lunch after browsing the stalls and maybe try your luck on the tombola.

The next Country Crafts & Produce Fayre here at the Staintondale Village Hall will be on 21st September when there will be lots of stalls to browse. From homegrown fresh fruit and veg to embroidered cushions, local honey to an ecclectic mix of handmade gifts. Whilst there you could also enjoy a homemade light brunch or lunch served throughout the day and theres a tombola too. We hope we'll see you on the day when we're raising funds to help keep the hall open to all.

The Friends of St John's are thrilled to welcome the Thornton Le Dale Ukuleles to Staintondale Village Hall on Saturday October 5th at 2pm. Tickets are limited for what we envisage to be a popular event so please order yours asap. (details on poster.) Come and join us for this musical extravaganza were audience participation will be encouraged. (everyone enjoys a good singalong 🙂 )
Refreshemnts will be available and a there will be a raffle too.

Yes you read it right we will be holding SNAIL-TON-DALE Races when we will be trying to break the WORLD RECORD of 2mins 20secs at SNAIL RACING here on this day. Anyone can enter to win a fabulous trophy and maybe be part of a world record attempt. Why not take some photos and prepare your hanging basket then enter the competitions as well as getting your snail trained and ready for the races. It is going to be an exciting day.
