The humble harmony of succulent beef, chopped vegetables and crumbly pastry has become one of Cornwallβs most iconic symbols. Popular in the past with miners due to its handy shape with inbuilt βhandleβ (the crimped crust was for holding and then throwing away, so the minersβ dirty hands didnβt contaminate their meal) and ability to hold its heat for several hours. Today, the pasty is popular with locals and visitors alike β the perfect food whatever the weather β be it a wintry afternoon, or a summerβs evening.
Etheringtonβs Cornish pasties are handmade daily by our band of Crimpetts. Each pasty is made to Etheringtonβs hundred year old secret recipe, and uses only the finest ingredients possible.
Our pasties are available to buy fresh from the oven at our award-winning Farm Shop near Scorrier, or online and delivered frozen to your door.
