Long post ahead. Hang in there!

Back in 2020, we started toying with the idea of converting the space above Elizabeth Kate Bridal]]] into a second studio space to accommodate the growing number of brides heading through our doors. We decided to commit to that vision during the early days of the pandemic and in April of 2021, a brand new bridal experience was launched. Dreamed up by myself and Holly, we wanted to create a space where brides who didn’t feel like they belonged in a ‘regular’ bridal shop could relax because like them, we totally unique.

We set up separate socials and website in an attempt to avoid confusion with the look being such a contrast to the gorgeous neutral aesthetic Kim had created downstairs but after almost a year, we’ve come to realise that outwardly the separation has actually been more confusing for our brides.

To combat this, we’ve decided to combine everything to ensure our brides know that electric bride is the incredible upstairs lounge at Elizabeth Kate Bridal]]] which means you’ll get access to all the dresses between both floors, an in-house seamstress who can make dreams come true and a totally private, intimate setting where we can give you a bridal experience to remember.

I’ll continue to post inspo and our apparel range on here, but we would absolutely love it if you could continue to support us over on Elizabeth Kate Bridal]]] where you’ll still see all the amazing gowns we offer across both floors.

On Saturday we got to spend some time with our brides outside of choosing their dress and fittings. It was so nice to just chat and catch up on the latest wedding news!

As a family run business, is our entire world. We live and breathe weddings - even when we’re not here! (My husband will confirm this as he feels he knows way too much about the industry now 😂)

Most importantly though, we are committed to giving our brides THE best experience. Always.

When you’re not working Sunday but you still end up in the studio because you’re having a zoom call with a panicked bride who has left wedding dress shopping super late but we still want to try and help her feel amazing. Because that’s what this is all about. It’s so much more than a job for us and we can’t believe how lucky we are that we get to do this and call it work.
