A cheerful bouquet I had fun making ‘just because’ and it was very happily snapped up. The joy of making whatever I like then having lovely people come in & tell me it is exactly what they were looking for makes me so grateful to have my shop. 🌻

To celebrate 2 months of the shop being open I thought I’d do a little ‘Hi from me’
- I am Jade, florist & shop owner in Fiveways. I am originally from Essex but moved to Brighton around 12 years ago with the ambition to follow a creative path. Fast forward a few years, plenty of hospitality jobs & multiple moves along the coast, I now live in Seaford raising a family with my wonderful partner (who you’ve probably seen helping me & bringing our 3 children in to the shop for visits) I am so grateful & amazed by how much the business has already achieved in it’s short life. I lock the door to the shop each night & it’s still a ’pinch me moment’ because the planning and thinking and dreaming is finally a physical place 🤍
I am beyond excited for the future of the shop & have lots of plans for workshops, new gift ideas & services on offer in the pipeline. So, do stick around to watch me grow. 🌷

Prepare in advance for gifts to show your gratitude to our wonderful teachers & school workers!
Here’s a few ideas & of course gift bouquets will be available (please do order these in advance where possible so I can do my best to accommodate deliveries & collections to fit around school runs to make life that little bit easier for you and your kids)

My final Peony design went out over the weekend & what a way to go out, a joyful box of blooms with mixed Peonies and foliage.
Thank you Peony season, it has been beautiful (albeit a tad stressful) I won’t miss your whimsicality and unpredictable manner but I will miss your beauty.
Thank you to all the Peony lovers who kept me busy and a HUGE thank you to for your incredible service in supplying Peonies to the shop and your honesty and advice.

Birthday Blooms
I love this mix of apple-blossom Snaps, deep blue Cornflowers, vibrant Stocks matched oh so perfectly with Carnations (that have been slightly improved with some gentle manipulation ) all brought together with a flash of Alchemilla.
Such a beauty to receive on a birthday right?

Pearl Girl is 3 🎈
Some of you may have seen this little helper in and around the shop, Pearl is our youngest & most fiery child and today she celebrates her 3rd Birthday. Pearl has adapted so well to her Mummy opening the shop and not being around quite so much recently. We are so very proud of the fearless girl she’s becoming 🌷
Also, little shoutout to for being so conveniently located for my last minute purchases this week!

What a busy week it has been already!
Wedding season has truly started, the shop had a really busy start to the week & I’ve had a consult for a very special farewell tribute.
