Time for Autumn 🍂
So pleased to have received my Autumn scents from to burn in the shop.
Currently changing the displays, introducing lots of burnt orange & warmth to the shop over the next few days.
Please buy your own wax melts direct from the amazing Rosalind & support her incredible business so that next year she can launch these gorgeous scents in the form of candles & diffusers. (You are always welcome to come & have a sniff in the shop before ordering)
Us little independent people need all the support & love so we can keep growing 🌱

The final gift
This trailing coffin spray for a family who requested a wild & natural look was an honour to create.
- Saying goodbye is never easy. My hope is that I can make the process of choosing flowers for a funeral as comfortable as possible.
We can arrange a convenient time to meet at the consultation room in the shop, I’ll burn a calming wax melt & offer you a tea or coffee. We can discuss as little or as much about your loved one, we can talk about who they were, what they liked, and how best to honour them through your choices of flowers.
Every design is bespoke & personal to the individual and their families. Be it an eco classic spray in your choice of colours, a living wreath, or a completely bespoke arrangement made with their favourite wellies or most loved mixing bowl - I’ll help you make your ideas work within the guidelines of funeral flowers to give them the send off they deserve.
Our final chance to give a gift to someone we love should be of great significance.

A wonderful day!
So grateful to all who popped out during the sunny spells of today to come and see me. You sold me out of Dahlias & pretty much everything in the way of fresh flowers, and to those who popped by just to say hello, I am SO thankful.
A Friendly chat or just a quick browse are also valued parts of my day.
Have a lovely few days, I’ll be back on Tuesday ❤️

Vintage Stoneware
- As a child I went through a phase of when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I’d reply “an archeologist”
With a fondness of history, the excitement of discovering interesting things from worlds before us, a huge interest in old things that tell us a story & a love of Jurassic Park (I also didn’t know at the time that Palaeontologists were a separate thing) Imagine my interest when I met a real life person in the archaeological field!
I fell into such a happy headspace looking through all the gorgeous treasures that had been dug up by his team in the last few weeks, and decided on some gorgeous stoneware that glistens in a dreamy shade of rust. My passion for pottery & sculpture quite happily sits alongside the floristry career I’m now living (we always need vessels!)
Floristry & digging up old bottles & pots that someone no longer needed - a match made in heaven.
Looking forward to supplying some various shapes & sizes in the shop!
Thank you Rusty Anddusty for the interesting lesson and for the beautiful pieces. I can’t wait to fill them with beautiful flowers.

I LOVE a local delivery 🌸
When I get a call from someone (sometimes from really really far away) to send flowers to friends or family who live near by I feel super special!
There’s something about hand delivering a little piece of love to someone unexpectedly that brings me a whole lot of joy. Extra lovely when I start to recognise lovely local customers when I deliver too ☺️
I like to personally deliver all orders by hand so I can always send a photo of the flowers being sent & cover a fair distance between Brighton & Seaford.
Couriering orders of fresh flowers further afield becomes rather problematic so please call up the independent florist who’s set up locally to where you want them sent. They will be so grateful ☺️

A crown for a Princess
These flower arrangements to say goodbye to a loved one, were particularly special.
I cannot begin to explain how grateful I was to be asked to make such a special token of love. I tend to spend a lot of time explaining my ethos that people are individuals and we must break down the barriers around discussing funeral flowers, no catalogues, no copy & paste. Just bespoke designs that honour someone you love & everything that made them individual.
It was so evident in the way the family spoke of this lady that she was so very loved & respected. The request to have a final gift of a flower crown is one that will stick with me for years.
