PLEASE READ.. We seen this and thought we would share this because it’s so true ..

It's not just a balloon - it's our business and here's a little of the facts around the time spent on everything we do leading up to your event🎈

🎈Our time spent chatting/messaging getting your ideas ,finalising your styles and themes , finalising orders and general information .
🎈Time spent sourcing the right quality products, many times buying in bulk to lessen delivery charges and keeping in mind delivery strikes, and unrest in the world (many products are imported). We never have or never will use kits from Amazon ,Temu or Shein - 90% of our balloons we use are Kalisan branded which are biodegradable- The other brands we use are Sempertex , Qualatex and Tuftex . You’re paying a professional for a Reason .
🎈Inflation time, air or helium can be hours! We know our products and we know the correct ways to inflate.
🎈Vinyl application - Time spent creating in cricut , cutting and weeding then final application - our A1 boards can take an hour alone .
🎈Blood, sweat and tears because guess what were only human and things do sometimes go wrong
🎈Helium tank costs, monthly rental and a delivery charge for a professional tank.
🎈Ribbons, weights and base balloons.
🎈Hi floating the balloons, weighting them and bagging them in the correct transport bags.
🎈If props are used a return journey to collect them following your event.
🎈Confirmations and admin
🎈Colour mock-ups
🎈Our Insurance costs ( We know not every local balloon business has this in place but we want to protect YOU as well as OURSELVES- A copy can be provided at anytime at our clients request or your venues request )

All of these things are done before we even arrive at the venue to set up, so please bear all this is in mind. We appreciate we are not the perfect “ fit “ for everyone’s event but we do our utmost best to work within any given budget.

We put nothing but love and passion into making our creations unique for your special occasions and we truly do love being apart of such memorable events.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of styling Willow Ray’s Christening day at Maryport Amateur Rugby League Club . It only feels like a couple of weeks ago we were styling Willow Ray’s mummy’s Baby shower . How time flies . Thank you for choosing Grace & Annie’s again .

Well HELLO February!!! Have you noticed how the Lighter nights are now noticeable.
We have a large event to style this morning so the shop is closed this morning… BUT Annie will be in the shop from around 1.30pm until around 3.30 as we have balloon orders going out later. Our fabulous locally Handmade gifts are now all in their own area in the shop including Allan’s fabulous local Original & signed Ink Art works. Valentines cards in AND all just £1.80. Our Personalised Valentines gifts will be on display from Monday. And our Handmade Soaps will be ready later this week too They smell simply lush... Have a great weekend everyone

……Happy 1st Birthday ……Well we are feeling a little silly today. We only realised at virtually midnight last night that it was 1 year today that we opened our wee shop. (Complicated as we signed our lease in the previous November)… We Just want to take this opportunity to say a HUGE THANK YOU to every single person that has visited us over the past year, recommended us or simply liked or shared our posts… It is so so difficult running a small physical retail business, what with the rising costs of everything, FBook trying to restrict the reach of our posts etc has a huge affect on our business, so any help in liking and sharing is v much appreciated. The shop is unrecognisable from when we first opened and we continue to restructure and adapt it as we need. We will soon be extending our opening hours into the longer spring hours, So please do pop in for a browse, you are v welcome at all times. Love G & A ###

Hope everyone is ok after the awful weather we’ve had. Just a reminder the shop is closed tomorrow, (Monday) due to a long awaited appointment late morning. Back open 10am Tuesday. Here’s a share of some recent balloon gifts we have provided for our wonderful clients x Our handmade soaps should be ready by mid week too. And all the locally handmade items are now on the new shelves together so easier to find. In November I coaxed Allan into doing some more of his fantastic Ink drawings and they will be available shortly too.

These have always been popular and are available for collection up to and including the 23rd December… They are £20.00 Each And they must be preordered and paid for when ordering. We ask that the amount of money you wish to gift is transferred to us no later than 5 days before your chosen collection date or you can call into the shop and pay by card… ( Due to forgeries of £20 notes circulating) we won’t accept this as cash… to ensure a very good lift we limit Them to 10 monetary notes.
