On Sunday, I visited Edith for her 6th birthday party. 🎂🎈
The children that Edith had invited were quite a range of ages but everyone managed to make something that I am sure they were proud of! Even her youngest guest did amazingly well with a little bit of help.
As well as lots of beading. Edith and her friends treated us to some of the Christmas songs that they are going to sing at their Nativity. Thank you Edith, for the musical party 🥳🎼❤️

Yesterday I was invited to make some beaded Christmas snowflakes and angels with the lovely ladies of Settle's Mothers' Union group.
Despite some having the wrong glasses and ageing fingers for threading the fiddly beads, everyone persevered and made some gorgeous beaded snowflakes and angels. ❄️😍
Sitting in on their meeting also gave me an insight into some of the important work that they do and causes that they support. Thank you ladies for being so generous and caring. 🥰

On Sunday I visited Emily to celebrate her 7th birthday by making beautiful beaded suncatchers and bookmarks. We also made lots of the, ever popular, fidget toys.
It was lovely to see some familiar faces from one of the Rainbow groups that I have worked with and Emily's older brother was a great help too.

I had lots of fun on Sunday making pony bead lizards and bookmarks with Annie and her friends at her 10th birthday party.
I was really impressed at the variety of colour combinations the children chose to make their new (very low maintenance) lizard pets. No two lizards looked alike!
We had a busy 90 minutes, but the children even managed to make some fidget toys and other little gifts, before their birthday lunch.
Thank you for a fun morning Annie; I hope that your new lizard friend is behaving itself! 😁🦎🥳

I had a lovely Saturday morning beading at the Holy Ascension church Bacon Butties Fest. The butties smelt absolutely amazing😋

A busy morning at our First Saturday of the Month Bacon Butties Fest. Many thanks to Sarah from Bizzie Beaders. There'll be another chance to enjoy crafting with Sarah's wonderful collection of the beads at Giggleswick with Settle Mothers' Union meeting on Wednesday 13 November at Limestone View at 3pm - you are warmly invited to come along.

Luna invited me to her 7th birthday party on Sunday. 🎁🎈
There was plenty of room to set up in the family's amazing, new upstairs space and we were able to choose from lots and lots of boxes of beautiful beads to make the dragonflies and dreamcatchers.
The children ranged in ages from 4 to 8 years old but all concentrated brilliantly and kept very busy making lots of little extra beaded goodies afterwards.
Thank you all for such a lovely party and for the very kind help in putting all those beads away! 🥰

On Sunday, it was Sophia's 7th birthday. She chose to make dragonflies for her party, probably the fiddliest project to make! The children persevered and, with a little help from the adults, made lots of gorgeous dragonflies that they should (quite rightly) be very proud of!
Not only did the children make dragonflies, but also dream catchers and fidget toys too. They worked very hard and definitely deserved their party tea!
You were great Sophia, I hope you had a fun birthday 🥳

Yesterday I drove to a very pretty location for Eve's 9th birthday party.
Eve and her friends were very busy creating lots of beaded gifts, Including some very stylish headbands, as well as, dream catchers, bracelets and fidget toys.
Such a lovely bunch of girls, I think that they managed to make the most items ever in their 90 minutes. Although, we may have lost track of time a little as we were having such fun! 😁🥳

Today I took a slightly longer trip than usual for Martha's party but it was definitely worth it!
Not only was I treated to a lovely party lunch but the children were all very busy and involved for the whole 90 minutes. I have never seen so many dragonflies made so expertly and carefully. 🤩
Thank you so much for inviting me Martha. I hope that you had as much fun as I did 🥰🥳

What a lovely way to spend a Friday evening: beading outside in the sunshine with a lovely group of Brownie Guides on a sleepover.
The 22 enthusiastic girls made beautiful suncatchers and fidget toys, before heading inside to watch a film before bed.
A big thank you to the friendly and helpful leaders who were happy to lend a hand with the fiddly bits and knots - always the trickiest bit! 🤩🌞💎

I went to Stanley's 6th birthday, which was my first themed party. Of course, Spiderman parties definitely need spiders and so that is what we made! 😁
We also made dreamcatchers as the web design is to catch bad thoughts and dreams, just like Spiderman's webs catch criminals.
It was a lot of fun and everyone made me feel very welcome. A big thank you to Stanley and his family 🥳🕷🤩

Here is a new style of Bizzie Beaders bracelet, perfectly modelled by some of my Jewellery Club members.
The children made bead charms in lots of different styles and colours but all looked absolutely fantastic when added on to the chain.

Yesterday, I went to Faye's 9th birthday party where the children all enjoyed making beautiful suncatchers and dream catchers with the huge selection of beads. They worked very hard and even managed to make some smaller bracelets or fidget toys before the end of the party.
It really was a fun filled afternoon so thank you Faye and Happy Birthday for Wednesday 🎁🎈🎂
