Back in July, A&N celebrated their wedding day with beautiful luscious green foliage everywhere, it was so pretty!

Reminiscing on this summer’s wedding cakes, especially M&C’s 4-tier buttercream beauty from June. It was a gorgeous summer day and they had the most beautiful garden marquee 😍

Regardless, I loved creating this buttercream Lambeth-piped wedding cake for B&A back in August 😍 I’m a little bit addicted to piped heart-shaped cakes at the moment!

A beautiful barn wedding calls for a beautiful rustic wedding cake. Tree-effect cakes have been super popular this year and they can be made with buttercream - like in this example - or fondant (check out a recent post!).

Each one will be completely unique (much like trees!) and a silver birch effect is such a great option for a wedding, to keep it looking elegant.

Ooh I love an evening shot of the wedding cake!

Huge congratulations to D&C who celebrated their wedding day last week. Their gorgeous tropical theme proved a challenge for the cake as most tropical leaves are poisonous but managed to find some very impressive faux leaves 🙌 you wouldn’t know they weren’t real when paired with fresh roses!

I’ve been super busy this summer with lots of beautiful wedding cakes, but also so many celebration cakes and book launches! These book cover cupcakes are so popular for book launch parties and they’re so fun to make!
