✨ Yin & Reflect: A Year-End Reset ✨

Join us for a peaceful half-day retreat designed to help you slow down, nurture yourself, and reflect on the year that has passed.

In the midst of the holiday rush, give yourself the gift of stillness and renewal. Together, we'll create a serene space, combining Yin Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, and Journaling. We’ll also hold an optional Sharing Circle, offering the chance to connect and reflect with others.

Take this time to restore your energy, reflect over the past year, and embrace the present moment. Teas and nourishing snacks will be provided.

We will be in St Mary's Church on Saturday (the 7th) as part of a day of exhibitions, tours and other activities for Heritage Open Days in three historic Walkley buildings. We will have stories, images and maps of the cemetery and we'll do our best to answer questions and give you the information you need to find family graves. If *you* have stories or photographs you would be willing to share we would love to hear from you!

*PLEASE NOTE*: we regret that the CEMETERY TOUR advertised for the following day has been postponed because of illness

Why I keep all my massage equipment stored away in a big cupboard πŸ˜‚

Less than a week until our next baby massage block begins! I've really taken a break from posting over the summer but have been using the time (and thinking space) to develop the routines and classes so they're as useful, fun and welcoming to new parents as can be - and have begun planning some new types of classes too! More details to follow...

The September / October block is fully booked πŸ₯° though there are spaces still available for Meersbrook and Ecclesall on the October / November block - perfect for babies born in July or August πŸ’› Spaces can be booked at www.bookwhen.com/littlechicksheffield

If you're booked on to the classes starting next week, I can't wait to meet you all and your gorgeous babes πŸ’— Please check you've sent through the Registration Form and let me know if you've any questions.

St Mary's Walkley10.00 am - 4.00 pm. Displays about Walkley places of worship and cemeteries past and present. Celebrate the beautiful artisan craftsmanship within St Mary's including Victorian & 21st century stained glass windows. Visit the bell tower to meet the bellringers.

Walkley Community Centre 12.30 pm - 4.00 pm. Table top display of Walkley history in the main Ruskin Hall. Walkley Historians will also be ready to welcome you in the first floor Snooker Hall and Appleyard Room with information about the history of this charming Edwardian building. Local transport historian Paul Fox will be bringing a display of Walkley public transport history. The Rivelin Valley Conservation Group will be displaying exhibitions and models and running natural history activities.

The full programme for Sheffield Heritage Open Days can be found at: https://www.sheffieldhods.com/

Heritage Open Days is a grassroots-led festival made possible by the hard work and dedication of hundreds of dedicated volunteers who work hard to preserve and protect our diverse heritage. Thank you to everyone in Walkley and across the city who is involved. Groups like Walkley Historians play an important role in promoting and celebrating our local heritage.
