If you’re a fan of the Princess of Wales’ Coronation tiara you’ll love my Mabel jewelled botanical crown! For the King’s Coronation today the Princess wore a bespoke tiara by milliner Jess Collett and Alexander McQueen which had a similar shape and botanical aesthetic to my Mabel crown - and I think it’s the perfect choice for a glamorous floral-inspired wedding. Her modern choice was a huge surprise to commentators who expected either a traditional tiara or a fresh flower crown - instead the Princess of Wales stunned with a spectacular wedding-worthy sparkling silver and crystal crown that would be perfect for a modern botanical-inspired wedding. Her daughter Princess Charlotte also wore a ‘mini-me’ smaller headpiece based on her mother’s crown - you could recreate this matching mother and daughter look with my small Thea hairvine pictured here. In fact I’ve already customised this piece for the young daughter of one of my bride by adding it to a slim headband, which makes it easier for a little girl to wear.

Ever fancied having a good old nosey around my studio - or have some burning questions you’d like to ask about my work? I’ll be opening up my workshop as part of my building’s Open Studios weekend so you can do just that! You can come along and say hi, ask me anything, take a tour of my workspace, consultation area and accessory cabinets and just have a good old browse. It’s a brilliant way to see what I do in person with no obligation to buy - and you can even ask my advice about how to accessorise your wedding day look while you’re here! The whole of Exchange Place Studios will be open for you to take a tour of all the artists studios that are opening up, with everything from paintings and drawings to jewellery, ceramics and leather goods and much much more available to browse and even buy - the perfect opportunity to stock up on unique gifts for Christmas! The event runs from 11am to 5pm on the weekend of November 19 and 20. I’ll be in my studio on the Saturday while my assistant Lois will be in the studio on the Sunday where she can answer your questions about what we do and advise on the right accessory for you if you need some help. This headpiece has been so popular this month 💕 The inspiration for this piece came after I went to a macrame workshop at @moonko____ (one of my fave Sheffield homeware, gift and plant stores and you can shop online too). I adapted the technique of working with multiple strands at once to create this intricate hairvine! I use about 12 metres of wire in this design and I LOVE making it!
