The life of a wedding florist is stressful anyway but when it’s your son’s wedding it goes up another gear. When you only have 3 hours to
set up the venue you have to organise everything down to the last detail and you need help from Vicky, Emma and Steve. And then we
moved all the flowers and did it again at The Cricket Inn in Totley the next day!! But the sun shone and all went fantastically well!

I was very proud to do the flowers for my own son’s wedding and had a vision of delicate flowers and clouds of Meadow sweet. I also used 100 blush and white Sweetpeas, Sweet Avalanche roses, Lissianthus, Snap Dragons and many more.

So it’s only 2 weeks until the wedding of the year! My son Tom and his wonderful fiancé Ellie.
I’m flexing my floristry muscles with flowers
from the garden , bluebells, lilac and cow
parsley. All favourites of mine.
We have added a personal touch by making
our own vases which will be a lovely keepsakes
long after the flowers have gone.Thank you
to the amazing pottery teacher Rachel Collyer
for all her help.

Friday was quite a change as I was asked to decorate a beautiful house for a Christmas celebration.
