Recently asked me to make a video for them. David Mellor has selected stockists all over the world, so they wanted a video which would act as a short introduction to the company and it’s ethos, so those retailers selling David Mellor cutlery knew exactly what makes it so special.

The David Mellor factory is one of my very favourite places to film. Go visit it, if you haven’t already!!

I'm probably a week or so late for the best of the Wath Road blossoms, but been waiting for the ☀️

I've loved integrating drone work into my videography and photography in the last 12 months. Here's to more in 2023!

Great to work with Finn on this project for Jason's Sourdough - we shot three videos, all with a jerky, stop-frame style. I opted to shoot stills with constant light and I'm really happy with how they turned out. Brilliant edit by Finn too. All three videos here: https://www.youtube.com/@jasonssourdough7253

It's been a pretty busy year at Vox HQ - here are some of my memories from some of my favourite video projects from the last 12 months! Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Christmas and here's to a happy and healthy 2022.

Tomorrow night the Poet Laureate Simon Armitage will read his homage to the Peak District, 70 Notices, as part of Off the Shelf Festival Of Words - here's a little taster of some of those 70 Notices, filmed in the Peaks earlier this autumn.

There’s something fascinating about seeing the process behind a craft. I worked with Libby at @joinframes to capture some of the many techniques she uses to create bespoke frames and mounts for artwork.

A video I made with Rob Hastie, Artistic Director of Sheffied Theatres as part of work with @surriyafalconer and @offtheshelffestival to celebrate the Text in the City project. This poem is What If? by Andrew Motion and can usually been seen on the side of @sheffhallamuni Owen Building. It’s having a clean at the moment though!

Here a video I made for @offtheshelffestival celebrating the Text in the City scheme. Filmed at Beautiful Downtown Bramall Lane with @jrwothomack and @surriyafalconer it was a dream gig!

Great to work with @counter.context and @sheffieldhoc2 to produce a video showing some of next phase of the regeneration of Sheffield City Centre. It’s all at different stages, but there are some genuinely exciting projects and spaces in the pipeline. Here’s a bit of B-roll from the video, featuring @leahsyard @thefurnacesheffield @cubowork and CMS. The full film is available on the @sheffieldhoc2 socials.
