Rattle & Roll Music was founded in 2003 by Anne - a new mum who had tried a number of music groups in the area and realised a new style of music class for the under 5's was needed and so Rattle & Roll music was born! In 2019 we moved to our own venue with onsite cafe and garden area meaning we could host more classes in a clean venue rather than church hall type buildings. Today in 2022 we have w

eekly sensory, music and movement, baby yoga and toddler yoga classes and also our open play sessions where you can come and use the cafe and sensory room. We host Birthday parties at the weekend, our prices are for the full exclusive venue hire, entertainment and food for 15 children. All our classes are pre-booking only but we do allow walk in’s for open play sessions.

So…. I don’t really know how to write this but here goes. As of Friday last week the new owner of Rattle & Roll is Fran who is ready to continue what I started 21 years ago. I know she will do an amazing job and is full of energy, creativity and lots of ideas for the future. I really hope you all will support her in this new venture. Although R&R has a following and times are still tough for small business’ she will need you guys ❤️ Now I just want to say what a pleasure it has been meeting so many new parents over the years, being part of your journey. It has been such a massive part of my life and really was the only thing I thought I knew how to do. My children have grown up here, from my eldest who I started this with at 9 months old who is now 22 to my 7th child Clemmie who has just started school. I would like to thank Fran to taking the chance on the business and its potential, Ella, Natasha and Macy for being patient over the last 6 months while I’ve been AWOL training in my new job. The dust has now settled and I am enjoying my new role so much. Thank you to you all for keeping with us, following my journey and being such a huge part of my life. 🥳🎉🎁Birthday Parties for Kids Under 5yrs 🧸 Soft play centres are often full of boisterous bigger children and very overwhelming for little ones. If you’re looking for a party option for children under 5 years we may be the place for you! Older children are welcome of course we know everyone has a mix of friends with children of differing ages (I do myself). We are a small family run venue based in S7 Nether edge and have been open for 5 years. Our parties are private and have an inside area, a sensory room and a garden area. This is a great option for a summer birthday as you can’t always rely on the weather but we can set up an outside picnic area but with the option of having a back up of inside just in case. Rattle & Roll Music was founded in 2003 by Anne - a new mum who had tried a number of music groups in the area and realised a new style of music class for the under 5's was needed and so Rattle & Roll music was born! Today in 2019 we have opened a new Play café currently open every day for Play (open to the public) A range of classes will commence dates TBC...

Our mixed age class follows a theme every week with the songs and activities linking to the theme throughout. We use a wide range of percussion instruments, wave drums, xylophones, maracas, tambourines....too many to mention. Bubbles, parachute time and dancing time is so much fun! Sensory music time - Newborn - Crawling babies Our Sensory music time is very popular. We have lots of activities that stimulate babies senses, lights, sounds, movement with parent or carer all contribute to the sensory development of baby.

Join us for Play and use of the sensory room for £4 per child/ £2 siblings

Join us for breakfast with Granola pots, waffles, toast and cereal available as we know how hard it is to get breakfast as a parent when you’re running around after everyone else!
