Our final guest for next Friday is Welsh DJ & Producer C.I hrtz.

We’re strong believers in having a killer warm up artist to set the tone for the party, which is why we’re entrusting Ciaran to warm the floorboards of the newly renovated Attic space.

Inspired by the Romanian sounds, his style blurs the lines between all avenues of minimal house to create unique blends full of strange noises and thick low end.

After meeting Ciaran at Altr Records party we knew we had to get him involved in a future party, possessing an infectious passion for the music as well as a really strong skill set.

Psa - we are well on track to hit capacity, with around 20 tickets left for the full party.

It’s been a while since we came on here and talked about the journey of Hotwire. Founded five years ago in the back room of a student house in Sheffield, Hotwire has been on a somewhat turbulent yet fulfilling journey.

Our first party was actually in the front room of a pub in Sheffield after weather and licensing caused various issues with the proposed courtyard party. Shortly after, we took to the road and caused some mayhem in York (both good and bad).

Recent years have seen us take to multiple different venues across Sheffield, Manchester, and Nottingham, sometimes for 300 people, sometimes for 20. The one constant has always been our commitment to providing people with a platform to perform and also providing the lovely people on the dancefloor with some good music. We are extremely blessed to have invited SO many talented artists to join us at these parties.

Alongside our parties, we have released 100+ free downloads, multiple Bandcamp exclusives, and lots of free premieres for artists from all corners of the world. We are truly proud to have championed people from so many different areas of the world. Hearing everyone’s unique spin on things really hits home the power of music.

If I’m TOTALLY honest, what started as a passion project soon turned into a lot of stress, disappointment, and loss of money. I’m sure many promoters and label owners can agree.

BUT, we wouldn’t change it for the world.

After what seems like a lifetime, there is finally some news to share with you, lovely ppl 🎈

Going forward, we will be hosting two hours of good sh*t, every second Sunday of the month 6-8pm over at .

Whether you’re on the rollover, preparing for the return to the office the next morning, or just want a good old tear up on a Sunday evening, we’re here for you.

We 🙏 hope 🙏 to be releasing music again by the end of the year, so any demos and support is appreciated, as always.

Saturday was a little bit special, wasn’t it?

After a year off and venturing into a new city, we weren’t quite sure how this one would turn out; however, it’s safe to say it exceeded all of our expectations.

Thank you to the DJs for providing their own unique sound and taking us on a journey from the first track.
Thank you to the party people on the dancefloor for making it all possible.

And thank you to the amazing for their 10/10 hospitality. If anyone’s looking for an up-close and personal venue, look no further!

Joining us this Saturday is North-East-born, Nottingham-based DJ Eileen.

Eileen's rise to becoming behind the decks in some of Notts’ favourite spots has been great to see. After moving to Nottingham for university, she could be seen slinging tickets for almost every event in the city, with regular trips to the promised lands of Berlin, Ibiza, and Gottwood thrown in between.

These past times have been pivotal for fine-tuning her musical taste, which she describes as anything centred around house and techno with a love for anything deep, dubby, and stripped-back.

Having always been a keen record collector, she's now flourishing by playing her collection out in public for some of Nottingham's best parties Big Sexy, Wot U Sayin?, Where Wax and Revinyl Sessions

Digger, selector, and party starter are terms often thrown about the scene, so it feels a little cheap using these to describe our upcoming guest, desmond; however, on this occasion, we must agree that these terms do epitomise everything about him.

If you're a Notts local, there is a good chance you've been exposed to the talents of desmond, whether it's through the cracking parties of Sound Picnic, his record store, where wax , or in the booth of one of Nottingham's venues over the past 10 years.

We're really excited to see desmond and his record bag give the chapel a good workout on the 29th.

We can’t wait to have Maltby grace the chapel at the end of the month.

Maltby, aka Andy, has been a huge part of our journey, both personally and as a brand. He first played for Hotwire in Sheffield in the corner of a sports bar to about 15 people (when we first started out). The one constant was his infectious energy, passion for the music, and ability to get people's feet moving.

Andy is notoriously known for his ability to craft an unforgettable musical journey. These usually consist of deep, intricate grooves expressed with the smoothest blends known to man! Expect Andy to jump in and out of deep tech and deep minimal house.

Tommy and Adam successfully Hotwire'd the Beats Mobile and got the f**ker back up and running again... This time, we take a short drive down the M1 to Nottingham!

It's safe to say we are SO excited to be celebrating 4 years in business in a 100-capacity, grade 2-listed chapel with over 400 years of history.

A carefully curated line-up that will provide the finest deep, minimal, and techy house (rumour has it desmond and Eileen have their record bags STACKED with plenty of low-key wax bangaz)

Joining us is also our long-time friend and all-around cool cat, Maltby, as well as Hotwire generals Tommy and Adam, who will be completing the bill as they reunite for another spell behind the wheel.

We can’t wait to add another piece of history to The Chapel. Transforming the space with our signature atmospheric red lighting, a tasty sound system, and the decks intimately placed on the dancefloor.
