The Big Tops indoor children's play and party centre is a large family entertainment centre, specialising in children's parties and children's entertainment. we also hold daily toddler activities and have laser tag, build a bear and a cafe serving fresh food and speciality coffees. During Covid restrictions In term time we are open Wednesday to Sunday and in School holidays we open 7 days

Our SEND sessions are much quieter, we reduce the capacity so children and families have the space they need to explore.

🎵 We ensure any background music is very low and no tannoy announcements are made.

👨‍👨‍👦 Parents and carers attend free to our SEND sessions so children can have as much support as they need with no worry about the price of entry.

☑️ We relax our rules of play meaning children can explore freely and comfortably with the support of their grown ups.

🎧 We have spare noise cancelling earphones and a breakaway space available should any children become overwhelmed.

😊 Entry is offered at a discounted rate of £5 per child and we welcome siblings to play too.

🌍Tomorrow is International Day of Play! 🌍

We’re really passionate about play and the benefit it brings to children, that we couldn‘t let the day go by uncelebrated!

⭐ Visit us tomorrow (June 11th) and we’ll give you a free play voucher to come and play again in June at any of our centres ⭐

Indoor Play is more than just a fun activity, it’s a fantastic way for children to learn and develop both physically and socially.

🌈 Balancing, swinging, climbing, jumping, sliding, crawling and squuueezing are just some of the skills children use when playing at Play Valley. As well as motor skill development, exploring and conquering obstacles boosts self esteem and independence.

What a week! 😓 We’ve been closed for some urgent building repairs but with the work now complete we are looking forward to being back open for some Friday fun tomorrow 🙌🏻

We do have to say a huge thank you to our team who worked hard today to clean and reset - you’re all amazing 🤩

Despite the little set back we’re still busy adding new play features and planning for more changes over the next few months - it’s our favourite part of the job!

With that being said have you spotted our newest play feature?! It’s inspired by a popular childhood toy - the pinboard. Except ours is giant! It’s so much fun, even the grown ups can’t resist having a go 😂

⭐ School Fundraising ⭐

Every year we are proud to support local schools and pre schools by donating Play Valley Play passes that can be used as raffle prizes at summer fairs or other fundraising events.

We know how hard it is, now more than ever, for schools to raise much needed funds for facilities and equipment and this is our small contribution.

This year we have £7500 worth of play vouchers to donate and would love to reach as many local schools as possible. Help us ensure your child’s school is included by simply telling us the name of the school in the comments below 🌈

Did you know that having a defibrillator nearby can increase a person's chances of survival by up to 90% if used within the first minute of a cardiac arrest? After our recent first aid training sessions, we realised the importance of having quick access to this life-saving device.

After doing some research we discovered that the nearest public use defibrillators weren‘t particularly close by, so we took matters into our own hands and purchased our very own defibrillator for Play Valley Dinnington. This device is now in its new home, readily available behind our reception desk.

We’ve also registered this device on The Circuit - the defibrilator network used by the ambulance service - so that our defib can be accessed by the wider public if ever needed.

We hope we never have to use our device, but we are safe in the knowledge that should the worst ever happy, we are as well equipped as we can be .

** Update - all balls have now been re homed!**

We’ve recently refreshed our ball pools with lovely new soft play balls, which means we have some old balls looking for a new home. Although used, they are in good condition and have plenty of life left in them.

We hate to see waste so if you’re a nursery , school or charitable organisation of any kind and can make use of these commercial grade balls you are welcome to pop in and collect a bag.

We will ensure we update this post when they have all been taken

💫 As we bid farewell to another year, we wanted to take a moment to thank EVERYONE who has supported our business in 2023 🙏🏻

We are SO excited to tell you that we finally open our doors tomorrow!

This renovation was a much bigger labour of love than we could have ever imagined. At one point we wondered if we’d taken on more than we could fix with Big Tops, but thanks to an amazing team of people behind us we are definitely feeling and looking like Play Valley 🌈

However, the renovation isn’t finished just yet and over the coming weeks and months work will continue on play frame additions and exciting new features, toilet renovations and many more exciting things to come!

The team can’t wait to welcome you back to their new home- Play Valley Dinnington 🌈 We hope to see you soon.
