Today is the day that little Paprika was expected to arrive. I know due dates are rarely accurate to the day, but I can’t help thinking that I should be going into labour now and not then. Thank you to everyone who kindly donated to her tribute page, a very generous £3000 is being sent over to the Special Care Baby Unit to help other poorly babies and their families. Thank you also to everyone who has taken the time to write cards, send messages,
give us hugs and chatted to us when passing in the street - I understand it can be awquard and difficult to know what to say, but the fact everyone has tried and not avoided us has been lovely and we really appreciate it ❤️

Before Tiffin, we didn’t even know the special care baby unit even existed and the incredible work that’s done not just for the babies but support for their families too. I’m posting the video we played at her funeral to share awareness and a small glimps of what life is like there and how quickly things can change so to appreciate every second even though it’s tough x

I wasn’t sure what to expect. We’d hoped for the most incredible send off for our daughter, but was very aware of freaking out or breaking down, completely overwhelmed in a situation we never thought we’d ever have to go through.
I certainly didn’t expect to be smiling and shedding happy tears through the service.
Happy that we’d had the pleasure of spending time and the opportunity to look after our precious little girl.
Blessed by the most talented, creative and funny friends leading and playing as part of the service, making sure we were ok.
Feeling Gods presence whilst praying everyone else was too.
Having a faith so strong that I know for a fact she’s in a better place with Jesus even though I (we) want her back more than anything in the world.
Traveling by princess carriage with our beautiful baby girl dressed in my wedding dress re made by her clever Nana along with the most beautiful flowers from her garden.
To be followed by an ever growing procession of family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours, ICU nurses getting absolutely drenched in the pouring rain so we could walk into the building without feeling completely overwhelmed. Many of which have suffered their own losses and battling with their own grief, as I mentioned at the service, not something that’s talked about any where near enough.
It was the most special sight and one I want to treasure forever.
Rocks were painted so we can pop them on her grave when we visit and eco baloons were released as the sunshine made a brief appreciate.
It was the most perfect day. My prayer is that you too feel Gods love, joy, hope and peace through the toughest of times 💜 🕊️

Hi everyone. This is not the update I ever thought I’d ever have to write, but devastated to let you know that our baby girl passed away at 4am yesterday morning.
It was terrifying and heartbreaking to see all the SCBU staff working so intensely on her, but we could see that they did absolutely everything they could.
We are so thankful to them and to all our brilliant friends who have supported us through the frantic life changes and helped make caring for her easier than it could have been without.
Little Paprika Joy Ridge was 3 weeks old, we’ve enjoyed and loved every day we had with her and are so glad we’ve had the opportunity to (especially the cuddles).
We need some space for the moment so please bare with us.

🎀🪩I think our little girl thought she was missing out on all the fun (all she heard in my tummy was either partying or the crazy children at school & nursery 7 days a week) 😅 so she decided to grace us with her presence yesterday sending me into premature labour at just 24 weeks 🙈
She’s currently in the capable hands of the NICU Jessops team in intensive care and is a tiny 1.5lb. Thank you to everyone who has messaged, it means a lot - I will respond at some point, it’s been a bit chaotic here
… so much for gradually winding down 😆🥳

🧨💎On Sunday we celebrated Marvin turning 7 years old with a computer game / Minecraft themed party! It involved lots of running about team games, pass the bomb, treasure hunts, sonics rings, finding & pinning Louigi’s moustache back on, the Minecraft challange - I certainly had my work cut out with these noisy gamer fanatics 😆 I hope you had a great time Marvin, certainly one to remember!

⛳️☀️What an incredible sunny day for this afternoons Hillsborough Churches Family Fun Day! It’s quite rare these days to have completely free family entertainment and fun on offer, but thanks to all the local churches in our area who organised, paid and volunteered, that’s exactly what happened!!
It was great to see so many family’s and a privilege to be able to represent our wonderful church St Polycarps alongside so many other church members 💖
Well done to the children too who proudly wore their hi vis jackets to litter pick at the end!
Great work everyone, it’s great to have had the opportunity to be a shining light in Hillsborough Park!

✨Todays Harry Potter themed party was pretty epic! Lots of energetic team games helping to free Dobby’s, watching the magical book change to what ever colour we asked it to and having a go with the sorting hat to see which house we were in! ⭐️🍄It was so lovely to be back at Holy Trinity Church Hall, this time looking ridiculous with my own spin of the birthday boys favourite character Luigi! We played lots of Super Mario themed games, played our instruments, danced in the disco and made our very own moustaches (so I wasn’t on my own 😅). It was amazing to help the birthday boy turn 4 years old! Great partying everyone, I’ll hopefully see you again soon!🍄⭐️

💖💙We have some news to share with you…
There’s another little one cooking nicely, ready to join our Hullabaloobell family!!

🙏🏼Thank you so much to everyone who has looked after me so well so far especially my work colleagues at Elmore Kindergarten - Middlewood & Loxley Primary School.

💔From experience, I know that pregnancies don’t always run smoothly and I have to look after myself as much as possible. Working 4 jobs is exhausting, so from now on, I’m limiting party bookings to themes that have been done before (there are still lots to choose from!) and will have a cut off date soon for future party bookings and events.

🥳I will plan the next few Hullabalooboo Create . Party . Adventure sessions and will probably be finishing in April, so do keep and eye on the page as this will be your last opportunity to experience our fabulous little group! (Just to clarify, this is the mid week sessions - not the weekend parties and events).

🥰Thank you so much for your on going support and reccomendations as they mean the world and have kept me going for so long!

O U T • O F • O F F I C E 🥳 2023 has been an incredible year for partying so far with parties over in Thurgoland, Oughtabridge, Bradfield and Wadsley, my phone has not stopped buzzing with future enquiries I’ve been keeping on top of (Thank you to everyone who has recommended us!). I normally just carry on through my own birthday celebrations…but this year I’ve decided to take two days off to party with my friends tonight 💖 and then celebrate turning another year older with my family tomorrow.

🦁🌿🐵We had a brilliant time celebrating my nephew turn 2 this weekend! He loves animals so we threw him a Jungle themed party which involved; decorating parrots with colourful feathers, making rain makers, dancing in the bubble disco and the highlight being a tug of war with Leo the Lion V Monty the Monkey!
It was so much fun and great to see everyone getting involved to help make little E’s party one to remember 😅
