New York Bride New York Bride is based in Eckington, near Sheffield, and sells designer wedding gowns that are ex-s

New York Bride opened in Eckington in August 2008, and has since expanded into the premises next door, so is now twice the size of the original shop to support our growing business. Our aim is to sell designer wedding gowns for a fraction of the cost of a traditional wedding dress shop. All of our gowns are sourced directly from the designers or their distributors in the UK, and are all brand new.

The gowns are excess stock, last season designs and one-offs and all gowns are available immediately. As a result we are able to market dresses, which would usually retail from £900 to £2000, at a maximum price of £750. In stock we have a huge range of over 300 dresses from size 8 to size 26. We also keep a range of veils, tiaras and other accessories in store. At New York Bride we will support you through the whole process from choosing and selecting dresses to suggesting seamstresses in the area, to finally steaming your dress the week before your wedding. We are located on High Street in Eckington, next door to The Cake Booth with parking in front of the shop (1 hour limit) or on any side street in the village. We’re still catching up with all the excitement of this new year, here at New York bride, and with that being said this post is just small thank you and congratulations to all of our fabulous brides who have been to our shop in the last months of 2024. You all look absolutely stunning, and with the big day approaching we wish you all the best, including: Charlotte, Megan, Ellie, Vanessa, Lanca, Abbie, Lydia, Brodie, Lynne, Em, Leanna, Lucy, Amy, Leanne, Abigail and Daniella. We here at New York Bride want to wish a big happy new year to all of our brides, especially those who's big day is coming up this 2025!

Given that January is one of our busiest months, we are ecstatic to show all of our brand new stock and can't wait to see you brides-to-be in such beautiful gowns! Since we want all of our brides to have a perfect, memorable, experience we have decided to make this month an appointment only time. (Not only are we busy but Stella has gone and broken her arm, which makes fastening buttons a slower paced task than usual!)

December can be a busy month, full of cheer and festivities, that’s why we here at New York Bride have decided to give our booking dates a small change this holiday.

We will be taking a short break between the dates of; Thursday the 5th of December until Tuesday the 17th, so the shop will be closed.

Re-opening on December 17th, we will be returning and open for booked appointments only so we ask that you give us a quick call first, that way we can arrange the perfect time for you to come in and discover your dream dress! 🤍⛄️

What an amazing week celebrating our first year anniversary. Just wanted to say “thank you” to everyone that dropped by or sent me lovely messages. I feel totally blessed and very spoilt. I thought it perfect timing to receive photos from the lovely Rebecca Powell, who looked just perfect in her gown, a real moment for me as she was my very first bride. Beautiful Rebecca and huge congratulations!
