A little bit about us...

Fantail is a multi award winning florist in Sheffield with a concrete jungle studio on the edge of the Peak District in Holdworth.

Fantail is the brainchild of New Zealand born Samantha Coventry. Always with an eye for creativity, for 15 years Sam worked as a designer of interiors and furniture. From an early age Sam has been interested in floral design, competing in shows from the age of four, and placing against children and adults much older than her. Her visual attentiveness for colour, balance and co-ordination saw her receive awards, We are proud to be receiving the honour of being finalists in The Wedding Industry Awards, Hitched.co.uk 'Breakthrough Florist' category., The UK Wedding Awards 'Best Florist' and The British Asian Awards.

We won our first award as Best Florist for the North of England, in the Wedding Industry Awards.

Sam turned her flair and creativity exclusively to wedding floristry in 2010 and now averaging over 40 weddings a year we have a firm reputation of being one of the best wedding florists in not only Sheffield but all of Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

We have the pleasure of working along side a wide range of venues being on top of their list of recommended suppliers as we have the ability to tailor our designs to compliment venues from the quirky to the lavish tailoring to every budget and style of bride or groom.

In 2016 now needing more space to design and create, Fantail spread their wings and opened a shop, taking up residence in the Old Post Office in Oughtibridge. Our new flower shop on the outskirts of Sheffield will serve the community selling gifts, cards and flowers for all occasions.

We strive to be different in many ways loving good old-fashioned customer service as the forefront of our values whilst creating a trusting bond with our brides and grooms. We love to push the boundaries on floral design, colours and media combinations, using local British and European suppliers. We have the best fresh flowers and can source just about anything, though we do prefer to work with the seasons!

We are easy to find and approximatley 6 miles off the M1 from Junction 35 on the A629. Take the B6087 through Ecclesfield until you get to a T Junction, turn Left onto Townend Road, that will turn into Wheel Lane, then Skew Hill Lane through Grenoside. You will come over the famous ‘Jaw Bone Hill’ into Oughtibridge. Follow the one way system round until you come to the top of Oughtibridge on Halifax Road. Bridge Hill is on the Right Hand side and the shop is located opposite the C**k Inn pub.
