INTRODUCING: MELLY D

For our 23rd instalment of the mix series Melly D has sent us in a cheeky 30 minute mini mix packed with floor filling House bangers to get us in the mood for our show tomorrow with Saytek!

Melly D is a versatile DJ blending house, techno, breakbeat, and more with a nostalgic nod to the 90s. A key figure in Sheffield's music scene, she's a regular at the steel city's best venues and she's supported top artists like Bailey Ibbs and Palms Trax and debuted at Boomtown Fair this year too.

Beyond DJing, she advocates for diversity through her collective, G Spot, providing a platform that empowers and uplifts female DJs. She also boasts a residency on Mondo Radio where her high-energy sets captivate audiences across different generations and we are super gassed to have her join us tomorrow night at Plot 22 for our show that'll be packed with House, Techno, Acid and Hardgroove and more 🔥🔥

Ye that's right 😵‍💫😵‍💫 If one Zone 88 rave isn't enough for ya we've got another HUGE one planned at the end of November for ya too !!

Saytek has been on the scene for 2 decades smasshin it with his hard and clangy acidic techno live sets and we're gassed to bring him to our intimate rave HQ, Plot 22, on Friday 29th November !!

A hefty 2 HOUR LIVE SET is inbound from our headliner and backing him up on the night is the well loved locals line up of Melly D & DAFTWERK and Zone 88 resident Creola too.

HERE WE GO! Our next event has just dropped and we're ready to get chaotic for this year's Tramlines Friday! We've got a bangin' lineup of selectas locked and loaded with a wide range of styles spanning the rave spectrum including ACID, TECHNO, ELECTRO, JUNGLE & 160 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Heading up the rave is acid techno giant Benji303 ready to rinse out Plot 22 on 26th July! This man is no stranger to the rave, frequently touring the UK and Europe hitting up festivals, clubs and free parties whilst running his own imprint 303 Alliance Records, which has been prolific in releasing some of the best and hardest acid techno to date. We cannot wait to unleash him into Zone 88 supported by some of Sheffield's most exciting prospects including DJ Deep Heat, DAFTWERK and Maypleef as well as the Z88 residents Adam C-4 and Creola!

No messing about now, we're ready to go in this Tramlines Friday with a 6 hour special. Who's with us?!

3 MORE SLEEPS till we party this Friday with N4 Records boss Pete Cannon at the helm!

Important scheduling information 👉 unfortunately Zubz, who was due to perform this Friday is unable to now due to unforeseen circumstances. The party must go on though and we are super excited to announce that KWAKE has stepped in to take her place.

KWAKE is on a roll right now, stacking up a series of groundbreaking releases on a bunch of our favourite underground labels including 'Unknown To The Unknown', 'Not For Human Consumption' and 'Gimme A Break ' with his signature nostalgic rave inspired productions packed full of breaks, bass and beeps and bleeps. He's gonna be rinsing out an hour long set for us taking over from Pete Cannon so expect a Jungle and Hardcore heavy 60 minutes!

Pete is a iconic and hugely important figure in electronic music with his hip hop projects spanning years of collaborations with the likes of Dirty D**e, Dr Syntax, Foreign Beggars & more whilst his Jungle has seen him release on highly acclaimed underground labels like Hospital Records, Swamp 81 and his own imprint N4 Records.

Joining him for a night of Acid, Electro, Jungle, Hardcore and Rave we have top tier support from Zubz, still vibing hard from her Keep Hush performance as well as Son Of who's fresh from tonkin it for Boiler Room in Leeds.

We're back at our highly intimate rave headquarters Plot 22 for this one with our stacked Void sound system ready to aid all your raving needs and as per, we'll be running a strict no phones on the dancefloor policy to keep you living in the moment whilst in your favourite small cap underground venue!

We just got hold of some wicked photos from our last rave with .love.acid when we brought & .aubyn to our headquarters! Including the first one with our super amazing door staff at 💞

Tomorrow night we indulge in a full 5 hours of non stop acid!

Your headliner's for the night, Jon Dasilva and Posthuman, will be taking you on a fierce 2 hour back-to-back and here's a little bit more about them!

Jon Da Silva is easily one of the most important and highly regarded figures of the early days of the Acid House and a true instigator of the rave sound which we still all love today! DJing as a Hacienda resident between 88-91 and producing a stack of remixes for the greats, including New Order and M People and A Certain Ratio, are just a couple of accolades to mention of many.

He'll be joined by I Love Acid and Balkan Records founder, Posthuman who has been making weird and wonderful acidic sounds since the late 90's and we know he will be armed with squelchy basslines and hypnotic rhythms tomorrow night going side by side with Jon!

The question is, have you bought your tickets yet? This one is looking like it's gonna be a busy one so we advise you to buy yours in advance so you don't miss out!
