EVENT UPDATE: POSTPONED until Nov 11th 2023

Today we have been informed by Sherborne Castle Estate that due to the level of rain sustained to-date and the impending storm later this week, we will be unable to run the event as planned for Nov 4th. We have agreed with the estate to re-schedule the event for Nov 11th with the same timings etc, etc.... We appreciate that some of you that have purchased tickets already may not be able to make the 11th but we really do hope you can...
Our website and ticket system will be updated in the next hour or so (as ticket sales were suspended early today while we arranged the new date)

If you are unable or do not want to join this event on Nov 11th, please email: [email protected] and request a full refund, please include the exact name tickets were booked under.
Refunds will take 5-7 days to be credited back to you card or bank account.

All ticket holders will be emailed directly advising of this date change, detailing the above information.

We hope that you all understand the reasons behind the postponement.

Under 2 weeks left to secure your advanced parking and early bird tickets… remember parking is limited this year due to site changes and only available in advance while we have space. Walk in tickets on the night are cash only due to very poor 4G causing the card machines to operate very slowly. All the changes this year have been implemented to try and speed up entry to the site which is only via the main castle entrance off New Road..

New for 2023:
ADVANCED PARKING TICKETS ONLY

The only entrance into the site will be via New Road (main Sherborne Castle and Gardens entrance.

This change will allow us to quickly scan the advanced parking tickets thus reducing the wait time and traffic congestion. There is also a quick filter system to remove any vehicles that don’t have the advanced parking ticket without entering the site.

We are hoping all the changes this year will make for a better event experience.

Changes for 2023:
Advanced parking tickets only - new quick scan and go entry for vehicles.
Whole event is now castle side so no trying see the fireworks through the trees.
Due to the poor 3G/4G reception, walk in tickets on the night are CASH payments only.

Nov 12th 2022 Event - CANCELLED

After much deliberation and trying to find a financially sustainable option for this years event, we have made the decision to cancel this years fireworks at the Sherborne Castle and Gardens.
With ever increasing costs we felt it was not even an option to consider raising ticket prices in the current economic climate, so would prefer to take a year out and return on Saturday Nov 4th 2023 with a totally new formate for the event that will address all the issues we encountered in 2021.

Due to the unprecedented demand for our display at the castle last night there are some people that never made it into the event for whatever reason and for that, we are sorry this has happened. Over the coming days we will look and review this event and deal with any questions in due course.
