Last full day, I've came to the conclusion i maybe need to book 10 days. The first two were a bit of a right off.

Balancing two life altering conditions like type one and autism can be if I am truly honest a bit of a fu**er on the days the sugars are good, there is a sensory trigger kicking off and on other days both sugars and triggers are off and then there are days when the world is at peace.

I am so grateful to have fab you that is able work around me and my hectic life. Home tomorrow after a bumpy start, home to finish leavers shirts and teachers gifts.

The very tired face behind fab you and Some fab you facts.

I work nearly 15 hours each day, sometimes seven days a week.

I mingle this with a homeschooling and looking after my daughter.

I post about 1/5 of what I do on here. Many are custom gifts, memorial tokens, or wedding items that just feel too personal to share.

I style and decorate venues, but I also spend hours with prospective customers sorting out their ideal party, whats posible in their venue, their hopes and dreams.

As a fully registered sole trader, I spend a good amount of time doing my books and my invoices, and then i order stock and plan out my diary. Pretty much every single piece of administration falls to me, oh and promoting and social media.

Many folk ask me if I would change it, and my answer now after three years of hard work is absolutely no way. I've built this business from my dining room table up, and I am exceptionally proud of it.

Enjoying a week in the sunshine with my kids, but I am actually excited to get back and get stuck right into wedding season and the crazy life that brings.
