Sorry we’ve been a bit quiet for the last few weeks, life has been very busy due to a number of different factors, but we haven’t forgotten you.

We have just submitted our audit figures for last year and you wonderful folk helped to save over 2100 single use items in one year alone!

Wow, we are sorry if we’ve been a little quieter but we’ve been busy busy with kits going out of our doors. We cannot thank you enough!

We have another kit going out this week and I think that makes July 2024 our busiest month to date.

If you would like to make a booking or find out more about any of our kits, get in touch as we still have some availability for August and September.

This weekend there were TWO party kits out....

CandyFloss and Rex 🐯

It's been such a long time since "Rex" has been out, I had forgotten how cute it is!!

Here are a few snaps from the weekend, including one of our amazing new cake stand, i think it could be used to display cupcakes, cheese&biscuits or pastries!!

We are forever thinking about what we might be able to do to help our customers get the best out of our kits.

It got us into conversation, when prepping for a party, would it be helpful to have food storage so food can be prepped in advance to put on our platters or in our bowls at venue? This might make storing in a fridge easier and mean you can just put out what you need. It might also mean you can keep leftovers for later and take them home with you. All this without using cling film.

At the weekend we had a sporting event to provide for!

With the requirements of plates, bowls and cutlery but no need for serving dishes we supplied a completely customised kit just for their needs.

With outdoor bunting it added a pop of colour to the Bowling Club, and the Light Box was a fun addition for the announcement of the winner.

It doesn't just have to be Birthday Parties to use our services, we are here for all occasions.

We love a nice surprise, and what’s nicer than a last minute hire request?

Yesterday we had a message asking if we could fulfil a request to cater for a party for 45, for collection the same evening. 🥳

Yes, of course we can! 💪🏼

Our ‘Essentials’ kit can cater for up to 120 settings, and with weekend hires still in the cleaning stage, it was no concern, we could step up - phew!!

Our Signature Kit went out this weekend, and we were loving the brief of Green and Blue for the joint birthday party!

Check out the kit in action, but also tiny little black boards we can provide to help with identifying what the sandwich is. These have also been used in the past to help with allergies and intolerances.

This month is and this is something we love to support.

Reducing single use plastic is one of the reasons we set up Parties On A Plate. However, we know we alone cannot change the world 🌍. The biggest things is that each one of us makes conscious little decisions that, as a planet add up.

Supporting Local (and friends) wherever we can, but also making sure your linen is beautiful and crisp for your party.

Well hello there July, how did you get here already? Is it just me who has been completely caught out by today being 1st July?

After some beautiful weather to finish off June it would be nice if we could enjoy a little more of the same this month. I am absolutely ready for fruit platters and picnics, coolers filled with something yummy and chilling outside.

Crumbs..... It's hot!! 🥵

We have multiple jugs to compliment our sets, and we even have glass Kilner drink dispensers depending on the look you are going for.

These are one of our most recent purchases as we couldn't resist the bright pops of colour!

Jugs are included as standard without our hire kits, perfect for any sort of event - we even have ones with built in ice packs! 🥶

We continually try to ensure that are offer is current, fair and competitive.

This kit for 25 people is being offered at a major online retailer for £20. We completely agree that it’s really colourful and would brighten up a party.

However, our Rio kit is £25 for 25 people and includes plates, bowls, cups, jugs, cutlery, napkins, tablecloths, decorations, platters, servers, and also free next day delivery subject to availability.

Plus, our kits aren’t made of paper so don’t go straight into the bin afterwards, going straight to landfill. With our Kits you just pop them into the hessian sack provided, we collect and wash them ready for the next party - absolutely no faffing!

Comparable price, more for the money and better for the planet. We call that... a win!

Earlier this month we were pleased to support Hadnall Bowling Club with one of our kits and decorations at their garden party as they raised money for their much loved club.

Those of you who know us know that Rachel and I are both from Hadnall so supporting something local is certainly important to us.

It’s one of the most wonderful things about this little business, getting to give something back ♥️♥️.

Add a "pop" of colour to one of our kits, to tie in with the theme of your party!

We have recently acquired some cheese cloth runners which we have hand dyed into multiple different colours!

We are always so pleased to get repeat bookings and referrals. It makes our hearts sing (and Rachel leaves me excitable voice notes 🥰🥰).

With more bookings coming in, June/July are starting to fill up. If you think you might need one of our kits over the summer, let us know ASAP.

Our Pop kit gets its name in two ways, not only is this cheeky little kit our signature colours so named after us (POP being our affectionate name for Parties On A Plate), but it also happens to be my dad’s (Pops’) favourite colours. Pop brings more neutral tones and can be teamed up with our coloured tumblers or even with our ‘flasses’ (false glasses) with the blue rims to add an adult element.
