Just had this message from my client who owns a very prestigious hotel that I photographed for him this week. "Steve - the photos are magnificent!! Here's a funny thing! I received an email today from my favourite hotel, The Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa advertising their Christmas Offers and there was a beautiful photograph of the hotel in snow as the header. I was looking at it and thinking "Gosh! What a beautiful photo! Great composition/framing and everything. Wish I had taken it!" - but then I realised I HAD! Sometimes I'm better than I think I am!

3 years ago today, I got married to my beautiful Tina at Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa at Lake Vyrnwy, and since then I've photographed several weddings there. This was Emily and Matt's just 10 days ago on April 6th. It really is a truly magical place to get married.

Technically, this was one of the most challenging shots I've had to do for a long time. ISO over 12500 and HIDEOUS, uneven light. However, "moment" wise - it was one of the easiest shots of all time! Look at the love of these two people just oozing out! Congratulations Emily and Matt
