Giving a bit of love to the stunning Amy who married her very own (and much better looking) Alex on Saturday at the lovely , a brand new venue for me.

I kinda fell a bit in love with the venue, which has stunning views over Blithfield Reservoir in Staffordshire, and would love to go back there again…

Banning boring photos from the word go, Kate and Adam graduated to legend bride and groom status on Saturday when they celebrated their marriage at Kate’s parent’s cottage near to Ludlow.

A drizzly and wet morning gave way to a spectacular afternoon and evening, making the day just about as perfect as possible.

Like most people, I love a good party, and I love getting in on the dance floor, not just enjoying a bit of dad-dancing, but also photographing the crazy antics and shapes of your guests…I have the best job…I get paid to go to parties!

These pictures, however, I didn’t get paid for, I was happy to photograph the 50th birthday party and fundraiser for Shropshire Mental Health Support where much needed funds were raised for a very worthy cause.

Tis the season for pre-shoots! I’ve got a busy late July and August coming up, and it seems that all I am doing right now is pre-shoots and meeting up with clients (and I bloody love it)!

It was Kate and Adam’s turn on Saturday and I travelled to Kate’s family home, in South Shropshire, where they are planning a four day long festival wedding, and I for one am looking forward to spending the day with them on Saturday to with these gorgeous people!

I’ve not been sharing enough pictures, so expect a few more posts this week, you know 1st of the month and all that - good intentions…anyway, here’s Sophie and Liam from their recent pre-shoot at the ever lovely Haughmond Abbey, just outside Shrewsbury. They’ll be getting married later this year at the glorious and I can’t actually wait…these two are both gorgeous and hilariously fun and are going to be at one of the best venues in Shropshire. Undoubtedly going to be an easy day!

Ban boring photos. Ban them! Consign them to history, to dust, to ashes! You’re not boring, your wedding day isn’t boring, so why have boring photos that mean nothing and make you feel nothing.

I spend time with you and your guests and I allow them to be themselves and capture everyone at your wedding as naturally and so you’ll get photos that really are of you and your guests, not just someone who looks like you in a posh frock.
