Come to Eaton Constantine to join in the official national commemoration of D-Day 80 on the evening of 6th June. The church bell of St Mary will ring out and the Village Hall will host a community gathering with singer Kerry Young. Kerry will roll away the years and take us on a musical journey back through time. The lamps of Peace will be our usual electric bottle lights as the official D-Day 80 paraffin lamp would be a bit risky in our wooden ex-army hut. The fish n chips snack is also part of the official national celebration. Not forgetting other challenges elsewhere we'll have a raffle for the Red Cross.

Our Story

Cressage village hall is situated just off the A458 between Shrewsbury and Much Wenlock.It is a community facility managed and maintained by a small group dedicated volunteers. The hall is very spacious and has excellent facilities.

Our newly refurbished hall is available to hire for private functions, meetings and group activities.

We had a brand new fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare all food for your function. This includes 3 ovens, microwave, 7 hobs, 2 fridges and a dishwasher. Plain white crockery is available for you to utilise, and cutlery for upto 120 people It also has a serving area which can be used as a bar area for parties.

We have a meeting room at the back of the hall which is carpeted and is equipped with a white board for meetings. This doubles up as a cosy space to accommodate baby groups.
