The hall and grounds are maintained and run by trustees drawn from local groups and charities and it is run as a community asset with charitable status Charity No. 502406. Worthen Medical Practice is attached to the hall and provides income to the charity whilst hall, facilities hire and fundraising from the committee of trustees, local residents and donations provide the other funding streams.

Thank you to all that came to the Village Fete yesterday, great weather, community spirit, a brilliant time was had by all, from the 80 year old who realised a lifelong ambition to go on a bouncy castle - to the girl who commented to the Story Teller “That’s the best story I have ever heard.” DO YOU HAVE ANY PHOTOs YOU ARE HAPPY TO SHARE, WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM.

For volunteers who worked the days/weeks beforehand and had a long day yesterday, the stallholders of local crafts, those manning games, Animal Man, PC Stuart Coote and Alpacas and to those who worked behind the scenes and baked the cakes - THANK YOU. It was a culmination of 100 or more individuals, you will know who you are, and a heart felt thanks from the community and Heidi who has been organising and promoting the Fete for months. And big thank you to Heidi.

LOVE TO SEE YOUR PHOTOS

Also the same late afternoon putting it all away. Either message me or ring 891912 if you can spare the time either end of the day and I can let you know more.
