We sent E & C the very best of happiness and love on their first wedding anniversary earlier this week 💖

Last year the bride, her maids and family walked from home to the pretty Beckbury Church. The marriage ceremony was followed by a beautiful reception at Davenport House.

We were honoured to create the bridal flowers as well as many decorations both the church and venue including porch arch, pillars, font, fireplace, urns in alcoves, tables and, of course, Davenport's stunning staircase (see last photo in the reel) 🌷

Happy 1st Anniversary wishes to K & S 🥂
On this day last year they said "I do" at the beautiful Tyn Dwr Hall set in the rolling hills and countryside. It was much brighter and warmer than today and guests had a wonderful time 😎 Fond memories 💖

𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 of a wonderfully happy day last March 💕

Guests and the wedding party were welcomed by two large, but pretty pedestals either side of the porch and inside the church there were large arrangements suspended from the ancient beams.

Floral decorations also adorned the huge altar window and font and included white blousy garden roses, primed to be at their most showy for the big day, hydrangea, stocks, delphinium and green moluccella (aka Bells of Ireland) 🍀

We moved all the flowers from the church after (as it was Lent) and repositioned them for reception drinks and in the ballroom at Hawkstone Hall.

𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 in church bring colour and focus, whether for a wedding or funeral.

This pedestal was one of a pair which were transported by us directly after the ceremony along with other floral designs to decorate the marquee, getting twice the value, visibility and sustainability on the big day.

𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 and feeling blessed to enjoy different seasons. Although the weather feels a bit muddled at times, Mother Nature keeps on bringing us variety in colour, texture, abundance and style throughout the year.

As a florist I try to use the seasons and their bounty in our work, encompassing both choice and sustainability.
