Last week, we asked you what Deb from The Rural Charity and Geoff from Shrewsbury Menβs Shed have in common.
The answer? An amazing personality! π
But more importantly, they work together to help the community through the Rural Charity Grant.
How?
Deb is the manager of the Rural Charity shops where a great team work across seven shops to ensure funds are available to distribute to local community groups through the rural charity grant.
The West Mid Showground is home to The Men's Shed, where skilled members help bring projects to life that have received funding from the Rural Charity grant, like the Clunbury Primary School throne.
So by you donating your goods or purchasing items from your local Rural Charity shop, you are ensuring the cycle of support continues within the community. π
If you're a community interest group in Shropshire looking for support, visit one of the shops below to pick up an application form:

Our shops play a pivotal role in sourcing funds that not only maintain the Shropshire & West Midlands Agricultural Society but the funds also go back into the community as grants.
We have a great team that look after our shops and we would be delighted to welcome you on board.
