Snowdrops in June I hear you say? Alas no, but I just wanted to let you know that for the first time since holding weddings at Pimhill we are opening our books for the whole of March and also offering Friday the 14th of February as a date in 2025💕💕
If you chose the latter, you could hope for a cold, crispy morning with photographs in the Nuttery surrounded by a carpet of snowdrops. Lovely.
Do get in touch if you would like to arrange a viewing.

Through secret doorways into the gardens.
You and your bridal party are welcome to use the private gardens here at Lea Hall for your formal (or less formal!) photographs. We welcome new photographers, please feel free to arrange a ‘recce’ with them prior to your wedding to scope out the best shot spots.
The Camassia Walk is looking lovely right now and we hope it will be succeeded by a plethora of wild flowers later in the season.

These photos by give you a good idea on the size and flexibility of the space here at Pimhill.
First image is looking from the lawn to the barn and gravel which lends itself so well to tipis, street food vans and fire pits.
Second image- The cart shed is a useful space that can be used as a general chill out area and leads directly into the pavilion (third image).

‘What an amazing stay! We have travelled extensively and this is one of the most beautiful properties we have stayed in. A charming, quiet and picturesque location but close enough to Shrewsbury’.

You are now able to book the courthouse for short stays through

Apricot Beauty (I think) and her shadow. The Camassia Walk about to pop.
The endless wind and rain is all but forgiven on evenings like these.
We always recommend you nipping back to the gardens just the two of you and your photographer when the sun is low and light lovely. As well as more photo opportunities it’s also great to grab ten minutes together away from the party for a breather!

Inspired by Polly of we’ve been planting out all the old spent bulbs into the wilder parts of the garden with very happy results. If you too are a fan of the Tulip, she’s just published a brilliant, beautiful and informative book with

On Sunday we ‘soft launched’ our new ceremony space, The Moggy. In its last life it was the calf rearing shed hence the name.
Even on a very overcast day and before we have had final fit electrics (wonderful woven shades I’m picking up in Morocco next week☀️🕶️)!, managed to capture the space beautifully.
Broken arch (foam free) was made by , window pictured was delicately dressed in English grown flowers by and the urn arrangement was expertly put together by .
We pontificated over the wall colour but White Lead by turned out brilliantly as the perfect blank canvas.
Rads, doors and floors need finalising but we can’t wait for you to be able to enjoy this lovely space.
Next stop… supper clubs, exhibitions and yoga. If you have ideas, send them over.

The lovely Claire and Lee captured last year by . In the first image they are in the Camassia Walk which is then left as a wildflower area. We (Charlie!) has been nurturing a greenhouse full of interesting wildflowers to add to the diversity of the grass, hoping for pretty things and less grass this summer!

Loving the morning light at this time of year, especially on the wild plum over the wall.
Forgive the random photograph but I’m trying to appease the algorithm in a bid to reach more of you as I want you all to know about our next OPEN DAY… Mark your diaries- Sunday the 7th of April 11am-3pm. Do come along and meet some brilliant suppliers (whom I will be shouting about on here over the next few weeks), enjoy a drink, something to eat and wander around the gardens. On Tuesday we had the talented Daisy from here to plant and weave a living willow structure down in what we call the bowl. Sitting below the barn and reached by a meandering path that is frothy with cow parsley in May and a calm green space for the rest of the year. This area is for you to use as you wish. Outdoor ceremony overlooking the pond, drinks reception, rounders or cricket… entirely up to you!
The knots Daisy used to secure the willow are called The Eye of God- as well as being a practical, aesthetically pleasing way of securing willow they are also representative of divine watchfulness.
Thank you Daisy, we can’t wait to see how this structure grows and evolves.
