Oak Apple Catering are offering a Fine Dining Menu delivery option! All meals come ready prepared to cook or heat through and are accompanied by detailed cooking instructions. All meals come in disposable tin foil dishes (NOT SUITABLE TO BE MICROWAVED).

This role will be an immediate start.

Oak Apple Catering Ltd. based near Shrewsbury in rural Shropshire are currently looking for Kitchen Assistant to join our enthusiastic team.

You will be part of a team that provides outstanding food service at a broad range of events including, private chef service, weddings, corporate catering, buffet catering, food manufacturing and celebration catering.

Working as part of our passionate team, you will assist the Chefs in the provision of a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchens at Oak Apple Catering.

The right candidate will be self-driven, enthusiastic, motivated and must be a team player.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the dry stores, fridges & that all stock is stored in rotation.
• Relieving & assisting the chefs from time to time with duties as requested on the food preparation
• Assisting in the checking of deliveries to include temperature checks
• Day to upkeep of the kitchen

Attributes:
• Maintaining professional standards and conduct throughout the kitchen.
• Speed and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Health & safety and food hygiene
• Full UK driving Licence and access to your own transport as our kitchens are based in idyllic rural setting.
• Able to work under pressure and enjoy working in a busy environment
• Excellent communication skills

The Package
• Salary Details: £9.00-£10.00 per hour

It has been a challenging year to say the least. Adapting and changing in order to survive.
