𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐰𝐫𝐚𝐩!

Congratulations to our Elite Company dancers and some of our Junior and Senior Company dancers who have just performed in 10 sell out shows of Sidmouth Amateur Dramitics Panto, Hansel and Gretal, directed by Marc Coulson.

We couldn’t be prouder of them. The dancers were incredible, junior chours a delight. With Isabelle performing the part of Russle Crow, and our Georgia smashing the lead role of Gretal.

We would like to say thank you to all the students and friends of EDDA that came to watch and support the girls. We have had some fantastic messages of congratulations, so thank you for taking the time to let us know how much you enjoyed it. Also thank you to the wonderful chaperones who have been amazing.

Miss Lucie loved choreography the show and is really proud of all the extra time, work and enthusiasm the students envolved put in.

Our dancers spreading some Christmas cheer this week.

George Bamford, our senior company captain, has collected and delivered a huge amount of food and toys to foodbanks in Ottery and Honiton. Thank you to all the students, parents and teachers from EDDA for donating something to help George in her quest to help others this Christmas.

Then, yesterday some of our students took the time out to go and perform for the residents at Hembury Fort House. As always it was a pleasure to go and dance at this beautiful and loving home and seeing the residents smile, clap and cheer was lovely, we always enjoy the cake too!

We had a very special assistant in Mini Movers, Honiton yesterday. The look in their face when Father Christmas came to class was priceless. Thank you to Honiton Round Table for taking the time out of your busy visiting rounds to come and see us. Massive thank you to Father Christmas himself, who had some great dance moves. 🎄💗

Our wonderful Elite and some of our Intermediate company dancers performed beautifully at a charity event in Honiton last night.

A spectacular evening organised by Miss Lucie to raise money for Hospiscare was a great success.

Also a really big thank you to Miss Caitlin for singing so beautifully, Miss Lynne for being a judge and Miss Rachael for co ordinating and being a big support.

Our head girl Ruby was one of the contestant with her dad and they were brilliant. Also three of our Adult dancers took part, and were also fabulous.

You all helped raised a great amount for the charity.

Congratulations to our wonderful Miss Cassie and her students who have spent three days doing Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams.
We are extremely proud of all of you.
Also a really big thank you to Jane who has been our music operator for the duration of the exams, we really appreciate you and all your support.

Massive well done to our Beautiful Ballet Corps dancers today. They all danced so beautifully, we were so proud of you all. Thank you for making my Insomnia vision come to life ❤️🖤 you have worked so hard for me over the last 6 lessons and it paid off today. Everyone was so polite and a joy to chaperone today. A massive congratulations to our head girl for organising a great Halloween party for our students. With the support of our deputy head girl and some of our elite company dancers, they hosted three fantastic parties yesterday in aid of Hospiscare.
Everyone had the best time and the girls managed to raise a impressive £360 for Hospiscare.
We were trilled to have a visit from Toni from Hospiscare to present her with the money raised.

Well done Ruby and team, couldn’t be prouder of you. Also, thank you to everyone else who helped out.

Don't forget that our beautiful ballet corp dancers are taking part in 'Chance to Dance' at the Northcott Theatre Exeter on Sunday 3rd November. They join other dance schools in having this wonderful opportunity to dance in a professional theatre/ stage.
Tickets are still available from the theatre box office, so we would love to have your support on the day!

We would love you to come along and enjoy this years panto in Sidmouth. After last years award winning success our Elite Company dancers will once again be performing in Hansel and Gretel at The Manor.
Also featuring in this performance are some of our Senior Company dancers, including Georgia Bayley who is taking on one of the lead roles as Gretel.
Rehearsals are well underway and going brilliantly.

We would like to wish these beautiful EDDA former dancers the best, as they continue their dance training at some of the best establishments.

Tara Dalami is starting her 3rd year of training at Cental School Of Ballet.

Erin Kirley entering her 3rd year at Performers College.

Talia Assante continuing her training at Stella Mann, starting her 2nd year.

Ramsay Pugh also heading in to the 2nd year at Stella Mann.

Cathryn Griffiths starting her journey at Performers College as a 1st year.

It’s been a wonderful first week back at EDDA after the summer break.

Wow!

The end of the summer holidays have been lovely and busy.

Our junior, senior and inter company dancers performed beautifully at the Hospiscare event at Caday House last Saturday. We really enjoy supporting this great charity and the audience were fantastic.

Sunday, some of our inter and Elite dancers were so lucky to attend a workshop with the wonderful Daisy Harrison. Following on from that the girls were invited to perform for Creative beings and Prism Project Dance at a lovely outdoor workshop and performance at Poltimore House.

Versatility and team work have definitely been key to a wonderful few days. The girls support and respect for each other and people they are performing for is something to definitely be admired.
