Event Volunteers of Swale are a group of volunteers who provide a professional and competent marshal service to Swale and surrounding areas. Some of our volunteers have a range of learning disabilities, we provide them the opportunity to gain confidence in their social and communication skills while gaining valuable practical work experience.
The team are based in Sittingbourne primarily but will travel outside of this area to help with your Event or Organization. We currently hold certificates for First Responder, First Aiders, DBS, and street works for road closures and we also have a safeguarding team to help support anyone at any time. We are run purely by volunteers, receive no funding from the government so we solely rely on donations. Donations received are used to provide equipment for the volunteers such as radios, uniform, radio licenses, public liability insurance and pay for any travel expenses to and from events.
We can supply you a team to undertake the following roles:
Event control tent, First aid, road closures, car parking, crowd patrol, parade marshals and general site services and a lot more. If you are looking for something else, please get in touch as we may be able to assist you. We are happy to work at any Event or Organization and we also have experience in markets to charity walks and everything in between.
