As we move further into Summer, we're turning our attention to the best flowers and foliage of the season and our summer flower arranging workshops provide the perfect opportunity to wile away an afternoon, as we help you create your own bouquet bursting with beautiful blooms.

We have spaces available on this months upcoming sessions, so if you’re interested in an afternoon among the flowers and would like to join us, please get in touch!

Summer Flower Arranging Workshops:
£50 per person, with tea, coffee & cake included.

This weekend, we’ll be open:

Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday: 11am - 3pm

Lots of beautiful flowers & plants will be arriving tomorrow and we’ve had a restock of lovely baskets and cushions!

If you’re looking for a last minute flower fix, local deliveries are available on both Saturday and Sunday, orders can be placed online or via phone.

🐣Easter Market 🐣
Our next artisan market lands on Easter weekend. There will a lovely selection of gift and food stalls to visit along with our on site shops and tearoom.

Also we will be holding a couple of competitions for the little ones.

All entries need to be brought to the market by 2.30pm and winners will be announced after 3pm. £1 entry fee for each competition (proceeds will go to help Ukrainian refugees).

We’re so excited as in the next few weeks our highly anticipated (and much needed!) expansion will take place.

With the help of we’ll be doubling the size of our current unit to give us room to house lots more flowers, plants and gifts, but also (and most excitingly) the space to hold more workshops!

We can’t wait for our new space to be ready and we’ll be sharing updates along the way!

Mother’s Day is fast approaching and as delivery slots are limited we really recommend ordering as soon as possible - it helps us gauge whether we’ll need an extra pair of hands, how many beautiful spring flowers to pre-order and, naturally, how many packets of biscuits we’ll need to pick up from the farm shop to keep us going… 🍪

We’re so happy with our new cards that we felt like they needed a spot of their own on our grid.

Designed by a Northumbrian based independent artist, each card is printed on wildflower seed paper, meaning once the recipient has finished enjoying their card, they can look forward to enjoying their very own selection of bee-friendly, non-invasive wildflowers too - it's a gift that keeps on giving!

Growing instructions appear on the back of these cards and each is finished with a FSC approved recycled kraft envelope.

It’s time to drop some (not so) subtle hints… with less than three weeks until Valentines Day!

This year we’re encouraging everyone to share the love, whether you’re sending a bouquet to your best friend or a dozen roses to your other half, it’s all about showing someone how loved they are.

We will only be ordering a select amount of red roses this year, so if red roses are a must for you at Valentines, we’re strongly recommending ordering in advance. With this in mind we have just put this bouquet live on the website for pre-orders, with the rest of the collection following in the next few days!

We are so excited to announce that our Christmas wreath workshops are now available to book, join us and  for a cosy evening of festive wreath crafting and delicious refreshments.

Places are limited, so we do recommend booking as soon as you can.

Wednesday 8th December - 4pm - 7pm
Wednesday 15th December - 4pm - 7pm

Each session is £50, this price includes refreshments and all materials and tools needed to create your own festive wreath.

We just wanted to let our lovely customers and followers know that we are still open for business as usual, both in the shop and online.

Special Occasions will remain open, with lots of exciting plans and developments in the pipeline - which we can't wait to share with you all!

The pandemic has been hard for us, both as a business and as a family, but we're looking forward to turning over a new leaf and moving forward once again.
We've been delighted by the number of people telling us how happy they are to hear that we are staying a little while longer and are so grateful for the continued support we have received from our fantastic customers over the last six years.

We're selling off a few pieces of our display furniture, this Brenner London cabinet is looking for a new home.

Shabby chic, finished in a light grey paint, would make a good project or similar.

In good condition, just one area of chipped paint that would need touching up.
