So our last day in the shop as you know it has come and gone :( so many mixed emotions, Happy, Sad, Proud, Excited we have experienced them all today. We have laughed and cried and simply sat and stared, we will miss you all but there are new adventures for us on the horizon and we will be passing the Reins of Flowers By Arrangement onto the Very capable new owners who will, I am sure look after our Baby :) even if it is 33 years old lol. There is no way we could put into writing how we truly feel at this point, just know this, we will miss you all so so much ##################### love always Paul, Donna, Joanne, Karen, Katie, Matt, and Rosie ##################### Ps, you will still catch us around treboeth :) cant get rid of us that easily.

SATURDAY 10TH OF FEBRUARY 2024 a date we will never forget.

OUR LAST DAY at the shop @ 745 Llangyfelach Road, The business is under NEW OWNERSHIP and being relocated to new premises at both Swansea Market and Skewen, Website and Phone number stay the same but there will be a different voice on the other end of the line.

After 33 years of Trading as Flowers By Arrangement Donna and Paul have taken the leap and are RETIRING.

It’s a been hard at times but enormously rewarding at others, I have lost count how many recessions etc but its been a few 😊

What we will miss
Omg the banter we can have, with customers and Staff alike.
Seeing all the happy faces when receiving gifts.
The smell of flowers every day.
All customers are important to us , but there is always going to a special place for the regulars some of which have been with us the whole journey.
Regular chats with our customers, some who just like to pop in for a chat.
Seeing the final result on a design, whether it’s a funeral tribute for a loved one or a beautiful design to mark the birth of a child, standing back and thinking “I created that”.
Our suppliers, Present and in the past who have all been amazing.

We would love to try and name everyone we have been lucky to have called friends on our journey with the business but couldn’t possibly name them all here.

One things for sure we wouldn’t have got this far without any of the staff past and present, We ALL made it happen together.

So Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has supported us over the last 33 years (except maybe the VAT man 😊 ) its now time to hang up the scissors and wish you all a lovely future.

Xmas Opening Hours -
Normal hours until Friday 22nd :

Saturday 23rd we will be open a little later. (depends on Stock level).

We will then be closed from 24th until Friday the 5th of January. Our first xmas eve off since we opened in 1991 :) .

We were asked to create a tribute in blues and purples, at first I thought this would not be a colour combination I would have chosen, however I have had a change of heart, I personally think its a lovely combination and works really well. You learn something new every day.

One of our more popular tributes, some folks do ask how we can define the image so sharply, Time, patience and skill is the answer, we often see versions of this out there (almost certainly cheaper but you get what you pay for) we dont just spray the logo on or cut a bit of black card or felt, each head is trimmed to define the edge of the black and then the white that butts up to it, also trimmed, many coats of florist paint to get good coverage and thats why the end result is so sharp.
