We've recently signed up with Lemon Booking, to manage our bookings for regular activities and occasional events and private hires. The system also gives the advantage of including a website, so that we can showcase our facilities. It's a work in progress and we're still refining some of the features, but here it is:

Due to a bereavement, tomorrow's Village Hall Management Committee AGM has been postponed.
The provisional new date is Tuesday 11th July. A new notice will be shared once this date is confirmed.

Christmas Gift Fair – Saturday 13 November
Once again, a splendid opportunity to purchase some interesting gifts for Christmas and other occasions including local crafts, gifts, homeware, children’s toys, cards, calendars, textiles, and much more. Pop along to the Village Hall between 10 am and 4 pm.

Refreshments, provided by the school PTA, will be available throughout the day including hot drinks, cakes, snacks, and light lunches. Everyone welcome, free entry.

Indoor Bowls returns to the Village Hall tomorrow night after an 18-month enforced break! All players are welcome - new and old, experienced players or absolute beginners.

Sessions are Friday evenings 7 - 9 pm and Monday afternoons 2 - 4 pm, costing £2.20 per session. For more info contact Hazel Bell or Margaret Charlton (message this page for their numbers).

Our hall's been pretty quiet since March last year, for obvious reasons. Advance warning to our neighbours that it will be NOISY tonight, as we host Carleton primary school yr 6 leavers' disco! 💃🕺🚥🎶 Running from 7-9pm, organised and supervised by parents.

Yes, the music will be loud. Yes, the kids will be over excited. Yes, all the windows and doors will have to be open for ventilation. And YES, these kids deserve a treat!
