I hate hearing of people passing - when I heard my good friend Les had suddenly passed I was totally shocked. Those who knew him will understand it when I say, In the last 35 odd years - through the 80’s and into the 90’s then the 2000’s and onwards there was never a time when this man wasn’t my focus and my icon. I’ve listened to 70% of his radio shows, I have followed his production from the days of LA Mix into the Capital Radio New Year’s Eve house party’s - his remixes - when he was resident in Leicester Square the list just goes on and on,and that’s even before I go onto his DMC contributions..... Les you were my inspiration and a driving force through my creativity, it was fun being on the outside looking in and on the inside looking out - in the studio you were very professional and it’s been a pleasure sharing one with you. Also the late nights we chatted over gb3sl, onto gb3wl during the ham radio years of the 90’s - I still remember people just being silent as we nattered about our music and our mixing, it again was an honour to share a different side of radio with you. And recently we had chats about things non music related, and it was a real insight to share them moments too. I know I’ve rambled on, I’m famous for digressing, but I’m finding it hard to accept we spoke one day and the next you were gone, this I guess is to help my closure... in the words of us radio hams - 73 om catch you further down the log...

Hey all just a quickie (oooh Matron) Due to work commitments I won't be on today (Wednesday 3 Jan) or Monday 8th Jan (Elvis' Birthday) or Wednesday 10th Jan and very possibly Monday the 15th Jan too but that's not 100% yet.
