After a pretty disastrous start and possibly jinxing the weather forecast, we had a lovely, super busy afternoon at Wouldham Summer Fair and Fun Dog Show.

Florrie & Max took home the trophies & medals in all six categories they competed in, including cutest dog owner and Best in Show!

It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces as well as lots of newbies too. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and got painty.

It’s been SO wonderful to hear from SO many of you over the last few weeks. Our Spring / Summer diary is filling up nicely and we cannot wait to see you all at your parties, fetes and festivals.

We’re really excited to have been invited back to some of our favourite venues and events this year including Little Fant Farm, Smyths Toy Super Store, Malling Town Club, Aylesford Parish Council, Roundoak Events and so many more. Not to mention lots of new and exciting festivals.

We are offering two different styles of set ups this year - double gazebo pitch and Bell Tent. Which is your favourite?

I know how precious your little one’s are and that’s why I’ve built a team full of trustworthy women who want to bring a bit of magic to their world.

When we are not face painting or throwing kids parties we all have full time jobs working with children and young adults. Between us there are two teaching assistants and a teacher, a carer of young adults and a hairdresser specialising in children. Kiddos are part of our every day!

We’ve been asked a lot at events recently why we don’t charge more than we do for face painting. And I get it, there are other companies and painters who charge considerably more than us for both parties and pay per face events such as festivals and fetes and I’m sure if I wanted to I could. However I won’t.

I’m a mum of 2 children. I head out to these events with my mum hat on as much as the diary allows and I’ve been the mum walking round a funday where the face painter is charging £8-12 for a face paint. For two kids £16 - £24 just isn’t justifiable for me. And so despite me wanting to be able to give my little one’s all the fun of the fair and throw ourselves in to the spirit of the day I’m left with two disappointed kiddos and a heap load of mum guilt. And that sucks for everyone around. And I just can’t justify asking others to do the same.

Similarly for parties. We charge what we charge because we know parties aren’t cheap! You’ve got venue hire, entertainers, food. It all adds up.

While paints and equipment can be expensive and obviously we have bills to pay, we keep our prices down as much as we can because I genuinely believe that all children (and big kids!) should be able to access the simple joy of having their face painted. For me, nothing beats that WOW when your little one looks in the mirror when we’re finished.

And so. Our prices will stay the same until I 100% HAVE to change them.

£5 per face at public events
From £90 for parties of up to 20 within a 10 mile radius.
