WOW - what an absolutely amazing day we’ve had for our first Diddy One Day Event of the season 🤩☀️ the sun shone, the courses rode brilliantly and we saw lots of horses and riders enjoying themselves 👏

Sophie Miah, winner of the 60cm Senior Unassisted section said “Today was fantastic - it’s been really well organised and the cross country course was lovely and inviting. It was our first event together and it’s been such a confidence boost. It’s been a really brilliant day!”

⭐️ British Riding Clubs Area 5 Intermediate Dressage Qualifier ⭐️
Our Senior and Junior BRC Dressage teams were out in force at Weston Lawns for the Area 5 Intermediate Dressage Qualifier - between them, our members completed a very impressive 21 tests! 🤩
We saw some fabulous results, including the Junior team and several Senior individuals qualifying for the Championship 👏Thank you to all those who represented the Club - you did us all proud! ❤️

💥 We went out with a bang today at our last British Showjumping show of the winter season! A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us this year - we hope you’ve enjoyed competing with us as much as we’ve enjoyed running the BS shows for you.
👀 We were joined today by international event rider Piggy March, who brought two horses along to the Newcomers and the Foxhunter classes. Spot her in our video!
🎤 We caught up with Piggy after her rounds to find out what she thought about her first BS show with us.
Piggy said, “It’s worked very well at Solihull today - my two horses needed an outing and this has been good for them. The warm up space here is really nice, with a big ring with a good set of jumps. The arena was well harrowed in between classes, we were kept well informed with timings and my husband’s gone to get some cheesy chips now! We’ll definitely return to Solihull for more jumping shows in the future.”

💫 Solihull Senior Showjumping Team Training 💫
Solihull Riding Club is a BRC-affiliated club, which means that our members are able to represent us at British Riding Clubs competitions throughout the year!
Our Riding Club teams are fun, friendly and inclusive - they’re the perfect way to make friends and enjoy riding and competing with your horse.
Our ethos for our BRC teams is to let as many people as possible have a go - our trainers are supportive and encouraging, and you can compete for the Club either in a team or as an individual - there’s always room for everyone, no matter how competitive you are.
🤩 We offer discounted team training to our members who wish to ride on our BRC teams - our senior showjumping training is only £10 a session!

Jane is one of our two in-house trainers alongside Sally Baker. Jane and Sally each hold two group lessons a week at the Club - their sessions always include a flatwork element and a jumping/polework element, which varies depending on what facilities are available.
