After a week without my van , (so I missed Thursday at Ford)I had loaded ready for today.
At 6 there was beautiful , clear blue sky and sunshine.
Unfortunately, heavy rain arrived shortly before 8.
The rain has stayed away and I’m at Ford this morning.
Lots of hanging basket and container plants , as well as other things.
I’m in my usual spot, in the middle.
Nice and busy here.
Forecast is good for Saturday, so Hoping to be here on Saturday as well.
Another one 🐝 is visiting the dwarf Iris.
They’ve been loving the Crocus and the Hyacinths as well
🐸 while I was watering in one of my greenhouses I spotted a tiny frog finding a nice damp spot to stay cool in
Always some wildlife eating things at the nursery!
Tonight it’s a baby rabbit 🐇.
It was tucking into some leaves which have come off the tree.
I couldn’t go into that greenhouse for a while as I didn’t really want the rabbit to go inside.
It disappeared back into the field when it had finished, but when I came out of the greenhouse it was back helping itself to some tasty Geum flowers from one of the plants which I’ve got our ready for tomorrow!
I’ve almost got everything out ready now, just got an hour’s watering 💦to do now before I go home..
I’ve been at my nursery this afternoon.
I had my Robins keeping me company today
I would like to wish all of my customers a
Happy New Year.
I hope that 2022 will be a good growing year for everyone and that the weather will be kind to us.
1st January and it’s 13C.
Happy Gardening !

One of our Robins was enjoying hopping around our trays of violas. 🌱🌱🌱
We had an extremely successful sale last week at Shoreham flyover and we’re busy at Ford on Thursday until the rain appeared!
We have family celebrations this weekend, so are big going to the flyover today, but will be back next Sunday.
Weather permitting, next week I’m planning on taking my bulbs 🌷🌼to:
Ford on Thursday
Broadwater Green on Saturday
Shoreham Flyover on Sunday.
Butterflies 🦋Bees 🐝 and Crickets 🪳enjoying the flowers and sunshine in the foeld at the nursery this agternoon
Bees 🐝 🐝 are loving my Laburnum tree today . 🌼. I’ve never had so many flowers on it. A fantastic tree to have in the garden to provide pollen for insects. I counted about 15 on there all at once.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any to sell, but they should be easily available from garden centres. Looks gorgeous with the blue sky behind ☀️
I’ve topped up my front garden with plants this morning, so loads of choice.🪴🌺🌸🌼
Plenty of everything apart from I only have 3 trays left here of bedding petunias and white trailing lobelia. I also only have a few of the blue speckled petunias. I have more at my nursery if you would like to order some, and I can bring them home with me tonight, ready for tomorrow.
The plants are for sale in my front garden all of the time and you’re welcome to come and browse or buy at anytime. I leave a jar for cash by the plants which is emptied regularly. Or you can put notes through my front door.
If I am at home I can take contactless card payment. My bright green van will be in the drive if I’m at home.
Please send a message for more info. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. 🚛🌸
If anyone is wondering whether bees 🐝 like double daffodils, here is the answer!
This one found the flower in a jar on my windowsill ( it was knocked off off last night)
It’s been on there ages, and getting right down deep inside the flower 🐝😊🌸
