This backdrop had something special about it…any guesses ? .eventhire serving Isadora Moon themed backdrop for Tilly’s birthday. The initial request was for a 5ft backdrop but when we understood that the client wanted the faces cut out for a photo op I advised that we made the backdrop 7ft tall because then it’d be the righty height for kids and adults to stand and pose in the face cut outs. We sent the full backdrop of course so they had the full display before popping the faces out for photo fun. Without this advice the faces would have been 2ft from the floor and not useable as a photo prop. Moral of the story…get yourself a print partner that understands events 😉

I was with a couple of lovely event stylists the other day with one of our signs waiting to be fitted outdoors and it started to drizzle. They said “oh get the signs inside so they don’t get damaged in the rain” to which I responded “it’s fine, they are waterproof” 🙌🏼. A mix of relief and surprise made me realise this wasn’t a known fact, so I’m gonna sing it from this grid post 😀… yes they are wet weather proof 🎶 Note - refers to the standard British rain spells that randomly happen in the middle of a summers day. The annoying kind that leaves us worrying about our garden parties for days but only ends up lasting a few minutes and does not ruin our parties in the end! Excludes hurricanes, heavy winds and thunderstorms, or any kind of major weather conditions which no one should party in anyways. Signs cannot be used as surfboards either 😀
