I know many of you have followed Freddie Cole and his experiences over the past couple of years or so, and generously supported his fundraising to help young cancer patients and their families, by raising over £18,500 to date. 🙏🏻

Freddie and our family were cared for by the most amazing and caring nurses, doctors and specialists. Their love and support, no doubt also backed by others through their own horrific experiences and fundraising, made a difference. A huge difference we will never forget. ❤️

Freddie is now embarking on the challenge he promised these wonderful people … to climb Kilimanjaro. A goal he set not only to challenge his physical and mental strength, but because a promise is a promise and he wanted to say a massive thank you, and hopefully help raise awareness of aggressive blood cancer, and much needed funds too.

Freddie has had huge strength of mind, been remarkable and stoic throughout, and he is in good health as he’s reached two years in remission. To think we could have lost him within a few days, this is nothing short of a miracle.

I am so unbelievably proud of my son, and I will be ready to catch him at the bottom of this big hill, with an enormous hug from family, friends, and those who are cheering him on! 🗻

Please do not feel under pressure to support when you’ve already been so kind, but if anyone can join us for his farewell Dinner and Elton John tribute evening, that would be utterly amazing! Or, if you’re able to donate a prize for the auction or raffle, or add a few pennies to the pot, your help is always greatly appreciated.
